Located in the picturesque village of Silverton, The Silverton Inn offers homemade food, local beers, free parking and free Wi-Fi, just 20 minutes from Exeter center. A cosy very welcoming country Inn close to where I needed to work with very good food & service from the Silverton Inn team
Set in Exeter, 9.9 mi from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, and Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Industry reachable within 9.3 mi, Crossways Tavern offers a bar, a garden and free WiFi. Everything.. Sheila is a lovely lady ..very friendly and very pleasant company... we had a lovely evening in the tavern ...will definitely stay again if I am in the area ... I wish I had more time I would have liked to stay longer ...
This lovely 19th-century coach house provides light and comfortable rooms with original features and private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy the nearby woodland walks. Lovely cute like place to stay. It was ideal for me as working in the area for a few days so could come and go when I needed to. I was staying at the property on my own and felt safe at all times. Diane was very helpful from the moment I booked. I was welcomed into the property with lovely refreshments. I’d definitely stay again. Great value for money. Thank you very much.
Located in Cullompton in the Devon region, Burnhaies Farm Coach House has a patio and garden views. Perfect for a family break in the countryside. Very clean and well appointed. Hosts were incredible - even supplying a pair of socks on request... Nice pub a 20min walk away down winding lanes with lots of pretty footpaths and bridleways to explore.
I've just returned from three nights at the Silverton Inn. Shane and his beautiful wife Amanda made me feel welcome straight away. I was informed about various details including wifi codes and places to park. Althought there is no on site parking there is plenty of on street parking close at hand and during my coming and goings I never found it a problem. I was staying on business and had room 4. This was comfortable enough and the compact bathroom had a great shower. I took meals, including the delicious breakfast in the bar. I found all of the staff friendly and helpful and it was good to relax with a few drinks at the bar in the evenings. There is a varied menu and Shane is famous for his pies. Siverton is a small village and it was interesting to meet some of the locals, all of whom were happy to exchange a few words with me, a total stranger. There is a well stocked village shop and a little antique shop which is worth a visit if you can find it open. I did have a little trouble negotiating some of the country lanes since directions on google maps changed every time I made the same journey of six miles. This all added to the charm of my visit. I'm well used to country lanes but round there they are on a whole new level!
Silverton inn is a lovely old pub set in a charming village with beautiful countryside. It was suitably placed to enjoy both the countryside and Exeter. It was easy to get there by car from Exeter Airport without the need to go into the city. It is on a local bus route. Extensive menu for evening meals and a good breakfast.
Teeny place. Big personality. Picturesque, quiet, beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Staff are amazing. I arrived after closing and I was sent instructions and a telephone number on how to access my room. My key was left in a secure lock box and the staff asked if everything was fine about getting there late. Nothing is above the service.
I had both an evening meal and breakfast at the location both of which were delicious and full of flavour at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly as were the locals. The bedrooms are comfortable and there is very little noise to disturb your nights rest. The only minor drawback could be the location with it being a little way out of Exeter and away from the motorway. But I would say it is well worth that small extra journey.
