Lovely little find for an overnight stay with friends. Host was super friendly. Room was very clean, comfortable and had everything required for our stay. Host gave us ideas of where to eat. Was parking at hotel but slots were full, we were able to park on the road nearby. Breakfast was tasty and very quick service, which was great as we had an early departure. Few minutes walk into the centre of Skipton. Don't stay in guest houses that much but would happily stay again.

Never ever leave a review it this place exceeded expectations. I was going to stay in a hotel but was late meeting friends so booked into central Skipton. The Railway was very smartly decorated the room with ensuite excellent and three course breakfast including both cold and a host of cooked options amazing. Allfor 45 pounds. The hosts extra friendly. Didnt quite believe the star rating before i got there. Now I do. Would definitely go back.

It is a beautiful little cottage in a quiet, peaceful area. The owners also have a pub next door with delicious food. The owners live upstairs, but give plenty of space for privacy and there is an outdoor space with seating for the summer months. We spent a lovely few days there, and really enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the countryside, or even a hiking holiday, I would highly recommend.

We stayed with our dog, its a pet friendly place and the staff is very kind and nice. We needed someone to watch our dog while we were out dinning and the hotel manager helped out by introducing a sitter to us. I recommend the Unicorn Skipton to familes with pets, kids :)

Location is fantastic at only 50m from the Skipton high street. No parking at the hotel but main car park is only 100m away up the back lanes. Chap that was running it was really friendly and could not do enough for us. Bed sheets were very high quality.

Excellent location for the centre of Skipton, everything was walkable from the hotel. Parking was free and car was not required as everything was walkable for town centre. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained.

The hotel is well situated and room sizes are very good. The staff are very friendly. Having a swimming pool on site is a real bonus. Well located with an easy 25 minute flat canal side walk in to Skipton centre.

The positives were: - Spacious: room and bathroom both large. Very big and comfortable double bed. - Location: great spot central to Skipton and near canal, castle, cafes etc. - Staff very friendly and warm

Very spacious, stylish and beautiful decor. Location is perfect and the hosts are amazing. The host really provides every facility you could require.

Exceptionally clean and very welcoming. Love the sheep. Would 100% recommend. Much preferred over a hotel and walking distance into Skipton - perfect!

Cooked breakfast excellent as usual. Location in the centre of Skipton cannot be beaten with on site parking. Owner always affable.

Hotel is very central... lovely walk along the canal from back of hotel into centre of Skipton... Bar area in hotel very nice..

Our stay at Salt Pot Cottage was amazing! Patrick and Helen was so kind, friendly and very welcoming! The views were spectacular the location was amazing! The cottage was beautiful and done to a high standard! It literally had everything you could need from cutlery, ice, a smart tv, Netflix, wifi and the hot tub was just awesome overall it was just brilliant we couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be back to stay again 😁😁😁

Friendly welcoming staff. Exceptionally clean room. Really nice to have a balcony to sit out on. Staff went out of their way to make things as ‘normal’ as possible whilst adhering to the current restrictions. Really nice swimming pool in the attached leisure centre
