Bedroom is an attic in a 100+year old pub. It was cosy and comfortable. Solva is a very interesting and picturesque village. The hosts were very welcoming, pub meals were delicious and generously sized with lots of yummy vegetables. Full English breakfast was also terrific, fresh, hot and personally served with good coffee and tea. Simon is a wonderful host.
Set in Solva, 22 km from Haverfordwest, The Nogg Cottages offers a shared lounge and free WiFi. Owners live next door to cottages so really easy for arrival and information. The cottages are so much better than the pictures. Wonderful places to stay. Beautifully decorated and presented. Fabulous large gardens to enjoy.
Tremanhire Cottage is situated in Solva. The property has sea views and is 44 km from Cardigan. Great property, ideally situated. Fab views from the 1st floor. Everything you should need is provided. Very helpful & approachable owner and lovely, helpful neighbours too.
The coastline is beautiful and we found some nice woodland walks as well. Due to covid not much was open but we found a good cafe doing takeaway lunch. Solva is only quite small - best for people wanting a peaceful holiday with walks.
Solva is a lovely little village that is well worth a visit, either for a few hours or a stop on the coast path. Lovely cafe Thirtyfive Main Street in the harbour and we had a great meal at The Cambrian. We were really disappointed by The Royal George and ended up leaving without ordering anything.
Beautiful little village . It was very quiet when we went in the first week of Oct . Generally the whole area reduces opening times ( 10-4........not PH’s ) The car park by the quay is free to NT members although this is not widely advertised.
Solva is a delightful little village and an ideal base for exploring Pembrokeshire and it's wonderful coastline. Within easy reach are some wonderful beaches and little coves and some lovely locations such as St. David's town and the wonderful beaches at Whitesands and Newgale. There are some lovely little shops and galleries in Solva, some quaint cafes and a small choice of accommodation.
Beautiful harbour village with rock pools, walks, shops and pubs. Even has a park for the kids if you know where to look (after parking in the car park walk left over the harbour pedestrian bridge instead of right to the sea!)
Quaint little village. We walked down to the marina and had a cup of tea and coffee at the yacht club. Very friendly staff. We had lunch and a pint at a pub on the main road (don't recall the name, sorry). Locals are very friendly and informative.
