Tulip Queen, Spalding by Marston's Inns is offering accommodations in Spalding. There is a restaurant serving British cuisine, and free private parking is available. The hotel was located in a good position for where we needed to be. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was extremely comfortable. I requested a low floor with walk in shower due to my wife recently having a new hip fitted, this was granted. There was enough tea, coffee and milk. Receptionist was very polite and helpful when booking in.

We feel Spalding a beautiful place to stay and has great amenities. Springfield outlet is a great place to grab a bargain and also wander around the beautiful garden. Also it is near to local attraction, Moulton Mill ,you can book a tour of the mill , purchase flour and other goodies and not forgetting the afternoon tea it is exceptional . We have dined at Prezzo in Spalding which we highly recommend.
Spalding is a quiet little market town with most of the basic things you need - it's best to stay close to the centre as everything closes early. The surrounding countryside is lovely (as with most places in Lincolnshire) - there's a Water Taxi (though I haven't used it yet) which takes you from one end of the town to the next. It's mostly clean (compared to the big cities anyway) and the people are friendly (though some locals beg to differ...)
I feel that Spalding is a lovely town and I really like the variety of things that you can do while you are there . The Spring fields outlet is a good place to get bargains . The Moulton Mill provides a tour of the mill and have disabled facilities as well as an excellent afternoon tea . The Pitstop is a fun place for the family who can compete against each other on the various scalextric tracks. and historic places like Crowland Abbey.
Again the place we would have liked to have seen were closed Springfield was a nice place to spend some time. Would have loved to have visited the Forge, Romany Musuem and the Windmill. We will have to come back when Covid has a vaccine
Spalding is a lovely little Market Town. The central pedestrian only area makes walking around a pleasure. There is a good mixture of architecture with some interesting buildings to look at. There are a good number of both chain and independent shops, cafes and pubs to visit, as well as a good number of benches to sit down and take a rest. On the edge of town there is the excellent "Springfields" shopping outlet with a good range of branded outlets, places to eat and drink and a nice park area to sit and relax.
Spalding Is a wonderful little town. You have Springfield's the shopping outlet village. The Kitchen Restaurant Is always a go to place to have a lovely lunch or a evening meal. If you are In need of a Taxi then I always use Spalding Taxi service, again these guys and girls give you a 100% service all of the time. Just book up and go have a look around, Its a great place to visit.
This was our first stay ANYWHERE in 2020. I loved the humour in the description of the hotel (something about quirky creaky floors - and they were creaky). Good location in the centre of the town - made it easy to find. The room was very comfortable - although very hot. When a window was opened it rattled somewhat, unfortunately. Good bathroom. Excellent value for money - with breakfast! And I like chatty, welcoming staff - much appreciated as we arrived at the end of a 7 hour drive.

A modern take on the country house hotel in a peaceful location on edge of the village. Good parking . Pleasant welcome - passed vetting by the lovely black lab too:) Wonderfully spacious room overlooking garden -amazing windows - very comfortable chairs and bed. Excellent housekeeping . Well appointed bathroom with good shower and towels including a face cloth. Supper delivered to room - good food and breakfast was excellent.
The staff were great, nothing to much trouble, we were upgraded to accommodate a special request which was a fab surprise. The breakfast was delicious, with help yourself items and hot food cooked to order. The hotel is lovely and ideally situated for a walk to the town centre, we were really happy with our choice of hotel and would definately recommend and will be back if we are ever in the area.

I thought "The Den" was lovely, considering it was essentially a garage conversion - you would not have known once inside! Lovely all the added extras - Bread, Jam, Tea, Coffee, Amazon Prime etc. Overall for a couple of nights away from work, it was so much better than some hotels I have stayed in!
Spalding
All I needed was a comfortable clean bed for the night close to a venue I was visiting the following day. The Riverside Hotel met all my basic needs admirably. I did not have evening meal or breakfast, so I cannot comment on the standard of the catering. I did use the coffee facilities in the room.
Lots of essentials in the kitchen and bathroom, a very well equipped flat. Good location, easy to walk into Spalding town centre in minutes. Great to have allocated parking and a quiet flat in the day and at night.
