What a comfortable stay! The room was large and well furnished, and the bed was REALLY good. I had the best nights sleep away for ages. The facilities were excellent, too. The swimming pool, hot tub and sauna were all clean and well maintained, and gave something extra to do. The kitchen was also really well-equipped, and a good place to sit and watch the waves. The DIY breakfast meant that we weren't tied to a particular time, but could suit ourselves - important with a teenager who wouldn't get out of bed! Paul, the host, was fab. He communicated quickly with us every time, and was really helpful. Whilst he was never obtrusive, we knew that he was always on hand if needed.

Front windows look right into the beach but have a special one way screen to ensure privacy. Will definitely be back!

Elmbank Accommodations is located 2 miles outside Berwick-Upon-Tweed and a 15-minute walk from Spittal’s beachfront. This property offers an apartment and holiday home with great sea views. Kevin was there to welcome us and is an excellent host. The house is absolutely spotless and so roomy. The kitchen had everything you could need, a great size dining table and the view from the living area over the sea is beautiful. The bedrooms are a great size with built in wardrobe and en-suite. My mother and father in law had the en-suite with disabled access which was perfect. The outdoor area is big with seating and table. I loved our stay.
