Friendly staff, welcoming seating dining area. Lovely lounge area with log fire. Fantastic food. We were not rushed whilst eating. Value for money. There are options for games and books should you want. We stayed for 2 nights, but wished it was longer.

Stalham is on the Norfolk Broads which is a popular tourist area where cruisers and boats/yachts of all kinds are owned and can be hired on the rivers in this beautiful area. Tuition is given. There are also riverside lodges and cottages which can be hired too. It's good for walking, fishing and exploring, and dogs love it there too. Places nearby not to miss are Wroxham (Capital of the Broads), Potter Heigham, Horning, Brundall, etc. It's also within 15 miles of both Norwich and Great Yarmouth. Well worth visiting.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Food was great and reasonably priced. Room was very clean with everything you could need including an iron ironing board and hairdryer. You do hear a lot of road noise as right next to a busy road but didn’t bother us when windows are closed they do block most of the noise out . Only down side is you do need to use your car to get anywhere as buses don’t stop near the hotel and taxi fares in our opinion are expensive £15 one way to Wroxham, also depending on which way the wind blows you also sometimes get a nasty smell from the septic tank when out the front of the hotel.

We didn't really centre our visit on Stalham as such and spent our time visiting the coastal towns and villages - all within easy reach and one of our regular spots, the Cat Pottery at North Walsham - a must for cat lovers!! Throughout the area there are good walks and some lovely car rides through the countryside. As the Wayford Bridge Inn has such a good restaurant there was no need to travel far for an evening meal.

Great place to base yourself for the Broads and NE Norfolk coast...Highly recommend the Wayford Bridge Inn for your stay..Great staff...Very clean rooms....Food was very good from the bar menu...Good hearty breakfast..fantastic views across the river too..pity we couldn't have stayed longer!

It is a good base for the Broads and the coast between Sea Palling and Mundesley. We enjoyed a walk on the long sandy beach at Bacton. The museum of the Broads is a little gem, very informative plus a relaxing boat trip. Wroxham Barns is worth a visit for gift shopping.

The chalet was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. There was welcoming touches we cam with our two dogs and the location was great a short walk in to stalham centre and lots of dog walks nearby. And clise to richardsons were we were picking our boat up the next day. Would definitely stay there again maybe for longer and would highly recommend the chalet that we stayed in for the night
