What an exceptional Inn!! Everywhere you look there's something interesting! Our room was beautiful, very clean, well serviced, lovely view 😍 The staff were amazing, very helpful. The food was delicious 😋 Make sure you book for dinner as it's regularly fully booked. I would highly recommend Stein Inn & we would love to return. Well done to all involved with the upkeep, management & running of this exceptional little Hotel!

We had a great time at Skye Lodge! Very friendly hosts, cosy room with the most comfortable bed and a great sunset view over just another idyllic Loch (or Firth...), tasty homemade breakfast, great starting point for any Skye adventure!

Mercy, the lady on reception, was so attentive and kind. The breakfast was delicious and huge, and the beds were very comfortable too. There is a beautiful view in the morning from the lounge room too.

Our stay was magnificent. The house and the facilties were super cozy and very clean. It had everything you need. Mairi & William are fantastic hosts looking after every detail of your stay. The breakfast was more than complete, necessary for the challenging days in Skye. Without doubt we will repeat and for sure recommend this place. It was a pity we only spent two night. Thank you so much!

Great location with fantastic views on the way to the Inn .

Great location with fantastic views on the way to the Inn . Lovely wee pub with a great atmosphere and staff very friendly, Couldnt get out and about due to heavy rain but i will be back to do this again.

Stein is a beautiful wild place to visit.

Stein is a beautiful wild place to visit. Would have loved to have eaten at the Loch Bay Resturant but unfortunately it was closed. Stayed at Stein inn. Disappointed. Over priced accommodation and needs a clean. Full of eclectic junk well past their use-by dates and does not compiment the ancient setting. Fun atmosphere and food ok.

GOOD: the chef and the food.

GOOD: the chef and the food. BAD: the front of house staff, who provided very very poor service. They were occupied with talking amongst themselves. They repeatedly ignored us and when we got their attention, they were very unhelpful and said they didn't know anything because they were new. It took over twenty minutes to get someone's attention to check in and they tried telling me we hadn't made a booking. I could prove my booking with my phone. They didn't honour our dinner booking, though, after some badgering, we were eventually given a (too) small table twenty minutes after the agreed time. The room: no hot water. The night: staff played loud music til after midnight (well after the restaurant had closed). At breakfast, I had to go looking for someone to place an order, even though we came down at the time we had booked. Stein service was the worst of any hotel I have stayed at.

At first we were a bit worried during our car ride to the...

At first we were a bit worried during our car ride to the location but it was worth it and after a few more drives the road become more and more familiar and it’s actually nice to have such a beautiful and private place to go back to and stay. I wish I could have booked for longer and way more in advance to also do the boat trips. A good reminder for next time.

The location is amazing. Isolated but thats what I liked. You can feel city stress just drain away by the minute. Views amazing, silence at certain times as well was great, so quiet morning and then pace pcisk up as people arrive for drinks and dinner. Food is awesome, fresh seafood. Will continue to come back here. Almost reticent to say too many good things as I want it to remain a secret and not get too bizy

Our room was lovely and tastefully decorated, spotless clean and cosy with a beautiful view. Johnny was a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble. He is great conversationalist with a wealth of knowledge of the area. His breakfast was outstanding. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
