Very easy to find your way around ,lovely walks by the river Avon ,we had 3 very good meals at lambs ,vintner and bistrot Pierre also enjoyed the butterfly world ,Beaumont patisserie for a sandwich and something sweet ,good mixture of shops and pubs all on all very pleasant place to visit
The open top bus tour was interesting & a good way to 'get a feel for Stratford'. The two visits to the Theatre (RSC) were fantastic. Shakespeare at its best. Lots of really good places to eat. The giggling Squid Thai restaurant was great.
Well visiting the theatre is highly recommended, we went to see wars of the roses, even if you don't like Shakespeare it's a brilliant experience, Stratford has plenty of unique shops & places to eat & with the river & canal is a lovely place to walk round
One of our favourite places to visit. Love walking around the town. The Encore on the corner where we had dinner was very nice. Food excellent. Most of the staff very accommodating and friendly. Theatre was excellent and the box office lady went above and beyond to assist us with changing seats.
Stratford is a lovely location, with lots to do. The river and the theatre being the main attractions. Lots of individual shops with different things on offer. Good restaurants to suit various pockets. Would recommend the Rooftop restaurant at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Osteria Da Gino on Union Street. Yorks Coffee Shop is also well worth a visit.
Lovely buildings and plenty of restaurants. All easy walking distance and a nice park where dogs were allowed. Ate in the hotel, Hotel du Vin, which was excellent and also The Vintners, again lovely.regrettably it rained quite hard which was restricting but we will certainly return.
Fabulous hotel in the heart of Stratford Upon Avon, a perfect base for exploring the town and staying for a weekend. Right next to the river - we hired rowing boats in the sunshine! Dog friendly room with dog biscuits and a tennis ball left in the room on arrival, this was a lovely touch. Carpark on site which was useful. Friendly staff on check in and check out.
We have booked last minute due to travel plans changing and have enjoyed a perfect weekend in Stratford upon Avon. This hotel is pure class. The staff were excellent and nothing was a bother for them. Breakfast served straight to your room-awesome. Luxury and classy. We will be definitely back.
We loved the beautiful room which was very spacious. we stayed in room number which was on the ground floor but the window faced woodland. Taxi reasonable into Stratford upon Avon. Super clean, attentive staff, would highly recommend this hotel.

My son got married at the hotel, the day went like clockwork, the food was amazing and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend the venue. Thank you for all your efforts.
There were only 2 positive points that I take from our stay here. The location with a quick drive to Stratford upon Avon and the look of the hotel from the outside!

We enjoyed the complete chaos as we are fans of faulty towers. Apparently the hotel was struck by lightning a week earlier knocking off the utilities and several staff left suddenly. We gave this property excellent purely based on the free entertainment (the chaos) and a free bottle of wine from a nice manager after we had a Caesar salad without any dressing and vinegar served in a milk jug and no continental breakfast available.
Very nice breakfast, quality ingredients. Evening meal rates in the top 3 in any of 100s of hotels I have dined in. Room clean warm and comfy with a HUGE bed !
Dog friendly room. Spa was an unexpected bonus. Food was excellent.
