All the exteriors were so pleasant; though most of the interiors were shut, so unknown! I was offered plenty of take-away options; though no residential and business brokers approached me and offered living and working accommodations. I was pleasantly surprised to see so much Turkish inclusion in Stratford-upon-Avon—I had not expected that! Bring me home, please. :)
3 minute walk to pubs Restaurants walking on right as exciting hotel Mx from the left 2min walk to the left along the River Avon, excellently situated. Highly recommend Greek Restaurant and Loxley Restaurants
A great pivot point for the Cotswolds, we visited during covid- probably wouldn’t advise that as the things worth visiting for were closed, but normally very worth it. Visit Salt if you are there and can get a reservation, it’s delightful!
The weather was warm and sunny so that always helps; nice walks by the river Avon, lots of activity by the river, canal basin and in the town. A good number of pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, etc., make for an enjoyable stay. In many ways it's similar to staying in Oxford or Cambridge, as they all have much to see and do.
Stratford-upon-Avon is a jewel, just so sad to see it so quiet with the current Covid situation. Our 3rd or 4th visit, and we will be back! Lovely setting for walking, good restaurants and shops, and great area for exploring!
The town is beautiful, the river and all the activity upon it is fascinating. Good shops. The only thing is at present because of Covid there are wonderful first class theatres there and of course usually much about Shakespeare. The theatres are all closed and only Shakespeare's birthplace is open - book first. I was disappointed as I had never visited the other venues connected to him but this is how the world is at present! Many things to do, boat trips, bus trips etc. Would still recommend a visit. Many places to eat so no-one need concern themselves about a lack of these.
Stratford-upon-Avon
The property was easy to find and great for our little trip. The room was amazing and staff were lovely. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We had evening meals in the bar which were very tasty so no need to go elsewhere.
Stratford-upon-Avon
Everything really. This beautiful place sets the standard. Impeccable service, absolutely gorgeous room, wonderful atomosphere providing a wonderful relaxed evening on an otherwise busy business trip. I will dimwit be back.
Stratford-upon-Avon
Very clean and comfortable. The fact that there is no breakfast offered is not a downside as there are plenty of places nearby to eat.
