Everything was lovely but the shower in the room was really poor given the quality of the hotel.

I go to Stratford for the plays and the Renaissance atmosphere of the town.
However , it is very difficult to get a good dinner anywhere in town after the theater gets out.
There are some great pubs , but at most you cant get even a burger after 10pm

Stratford had changed from when I was last there and it...
Stratford had changed from when I was last there and it wasn't somewhere I particularly enjoyed visiting. I'd seen all the 'tourist sights' on my last vist so that made for fewer interesting things to do. I accept that my visit was marred by the constant rain but I found the town to be unexpectedly 'sprawling' compared with others I've been to. Eating a sandwich on the river front meant taking your life (and food) into your hands: the swans were evil! There are plenty of places to eat, have coffee, buy takeaway food: prices no worse than any other tourist town. The river trips weren't running (probably blame the rain and very high river levels) and I didn't use any tour-of-Stratford buses i(f there were any) but it was easy enough to walk round.

A beautiful quaint old town to visit for a few days, so much interesting history, delightful old homes with thatched roofs, the Cotswolds nearby to explore and of course Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway homes and history.

Attractions, boat trips and buses were all reasonably priced, on time and guides were very knowledgeable. The shops are varied and have some sole traders making it more interesting than a general High Street. Many many places to get evening dinner and pub and restaurants we used excellent.

We booked a super deluxe room in the coach house and it was amaizing. The bed was king size and so comfortable and the character of the room was lovely. The staff were exeptional especially Natalie on bookings, reception and restaurant staff. The hotel was clean and nicely presented and is ideal for walking into Stratford upon Avon Town. We also used the spa facilities which were lovely.
