This little family run business in the middle of the Highlands was by far my favourite place to stay at on our trip. The location in the middle of nowhere is super cute, if you are looking for a more quiet place instead of a city, this is the one for you. The rooms are absolutely adorable and wonderfully spaceous, and there is a bar, a lounge to hang out, and a breakfast room, where you can get a freshly made proper Scottish Breakfast that we enjoyed a lot! The owner was also super nice, we felt incredibly welcomed and super safe, and there was even some local artists' work on display for you to purchase if you'd like. I definitely recommend staying there!

First of all, we want to thank the staff of the Steading Highland Glen Lodge for hosting us. Everything was lovely from beginning to end of our stay. The lodge is very easy to locate and close to places of interest and nice hikes. We were very happy to know upon our arrival that the breakfast is cooked on the spot and the day after we could verify it was very tasty indeed. Two people in our group are vegan, and it was very easy to accommodate a lovely breakfast for them as well, which is not something that happens often. The rooms are really lovely and furnished in a nice traditional way. I really recommend this place, we stayed one night but we wished we could stay longer!

Absolutely everything, it was such a delight to stay at this place to the point that we extended the stay for an additional night. Perfect to recharge, enjoy some nature, while being close to Inverness & Loch Ness. Bonus point for the adorable staff, everyone was so welcoming and kind.
