There are two decent eating and drinking establishments in the village, both serving good food and a fine selection of alcohol with over two hundred Gins on offer! Talybont is in an excellent walking location and is conveniently located for the popular local Nature Reserves such as the Dyfi Osprey Project.

Quiet village to return to after a busy day in aberystwyth. Bus route to aberystwyth and machynlleth- didn't need to use our car. Local pubs which serve evening meals or judith in b and b will make fresh evening meals on 24 hour notice request - cooked fresh from scratch.

Location was good for us - a short drive from the main town so, very quiet with two pubs only a walk away. The Black Lion proved to be a great choice for our meal & friendly locals made it a good night for us. Wished we had stayed for longer!

Talybont do evening meals which was great for us. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food and accomodation is exceptional and very good value for money. This has to be the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Delightful and engaging hosts, even a phone call before I arrived to check I had the correct directions. Warm and comfortable room with everything one needs, and the choice of a wide-ranging breakfast in the morning. Have not stayed in a better place and would welcome a return visit. Thanks folks.

Judy & Dave are the perfect hosts - nothing is too much trouble. Our ensuite room was gorgeous, with every amenity you could think of - Soft comfy king size bed, underfloor heating, and a lovely, comfy sofa to curl up on to watch the Digital TV. Plenty of variety of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and yummy biscuits too. The shower room beautiful, with lovely thick plush towels. Breakfast was great - lovely food, a good choice available and plenty of it too. Highly recommended - will definitely stay again - 5*
