Tenby House, hotel in Tenby

Located in Tenby and with North Tenby Beach reachable within a 4-minute walk, Tenby House provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

What a gem. Tenby House is just a ton of fun. Literally in the middle of everything. The pub and beer garden are a great asset but not so noisy as to interfere with sleeping guests. We really enjoyed the whole experience, and Tenby is lovely overall.

Weybourne Guest House, hotel in Tenby

Located in a quiet residential area of Tenby, the family-run Weybourne Guest House offers free Wi-Fi access in public areas. This characteristic Victorian townhouse retains some original features.

Weybourne Guest House was a lovely B&B on a major street about three minutes' walk below the old town wall. It had a visible sign, which made spotting it easy. Our room had a fine bay window, which added light and a bit more panache. It was clean, spacious comfortable and quiet, notwithstanding that it overlooked the street. (Traffic was light; there are advantages to a Fall visit!) Breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable. Parking was inexpensive and convenient at the Railway Station, only about 2 minutes down the street. It was a short, easy walk uphill to the harbor, beach and Old City Center, so restaurants were close. Our hosts, who are avid hikers, knew the area well, and offered good insights for our explorations. Even the weather cooperated!

Lovely Town with plenty of places to eat or drink and some really nice restaurants as well as Fish & Chips. The town was easy to get around with everything central and has loads of shops to explore. Unfortunately on our visit Ironman Wales was taking place so two of the car parks were shut. But we parked in the Multi-storey which was a further distance away but wasn't a problem.

I went to Tenby for the Ironman event. It was exceptionally busy and the atmosphere was amazing. Tenby is a beautiful small town and I felt very safe there as a solo traveller. The scenery and beaches were just beautiful.

Tenby was everything you want in a seaside town; colorful, clean, lots to do. Easy place to make day trips from. Two different sides to the beach. Lovely little cozy streets with pubs and shops. Didn’t get a chance to go to St. Catherine’s Island which has the bird sanctuary. Great to walk around. So much better than Aberystwyth, which has seen much better days. Prettiest town on the coast in Wales.

I liked the easiness of getting around in the small town of Tenby, with its quaint streets, alleyways and fantastic sea-views. Apart from the public toilets by the harbour, never noticed any on the High Street. There were bus services from Tenby to many other locations. I would say Tenby is one of the a par with both St, Ives and Whitby for the price of eating out. Tenby has some lovely buildings and colourful houses.

Tenby during the Ironman event was heaving with spectators and participants - Tenby's busiest weekend of the year. The centre of Tenby was crowded, so I can't say what Tenby is like during a normal weekend. I enjoyed the scenery and the 'buzz' of the town. Easy to arrive by train and walk to my hotel. Recommend.

It is a lovely place, little nooks for reading and sitting as well as a beautiful garden and the breakfast feels special. The waffles were loved by the kids. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are just right and I'm fussy when it comes to pillows. Lovely waterfall shower too! The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. We had dinner at the Heywood Spa Hotel next door, would highly recommend as you don't have to go far.
