Tenby has good beaches, lots of shops and eating places, but streets are quite steep if you are not very fit. Seagulls were aggressive and can spot a chip bag with laser accuracy. They even followed us into a multi-storey car park!

Just enough shops and restaurants but not too over crowded.
Just enough shops and restaurants but not too over crowded. Size of the town is not too small but not too big so it was just right . Parking can be challenging if your accommodation doesn’t provide that . Shops closed too early for a tourist areas.

Only stayed one night. We saw it all in one afternoon.
Only stayed one night. We saw it all in one afternoon. Amazed how nice the beaches still look, since my last visit was over 25 years ago. Tenby is a has-been destination. It was once a vibrant town on the same lines as Whitby, but now it’s going downhill and a bit unloved and dirty looking, just a worn out seaside town with grubby streets and dilapidated buildings all over the place. Even colourful properties are so dirty. Needs plenty of paintwork doing to spruce it up but perhaps nobody can be bothered? Beaches are the highlight, and the harbour area is scenic but small. We ate a wonderful meal at The Heywood Hotel and Spa next door to the Broadmead Boutique Hotel we stayed at, and would certainly go again, but none of the eating places in Tenby town were appealing. It belongs to a younger generation now, who don’t have the same respect.

Tenby is a lovely quirky town with lots of streets and alleys full of interesting shops , pubs and restaurants , (try Florentinos Italian for superb food and service). Don't miss the Harbwr (Yes that's how they spell it)brewery, for real ales and a walk round the brewing room , lovely friendly people. The Cove is good for food and beer (try the Jute Session IPA ,it's gorgeous!) The Bay Tree is nice too, and probably many more that make the grade. It's a fair walk to the centre of town from the Parking areas. Look in at Dales Music if you like vinyl and music memorabilia. Colby Woodland Gardens are worth a visit, although I was slightly disappointed in the Museum of Land Speed at Pendine - visited in a howling summer storm! Beware if you intend to visit the Brosherton Lily ponds at Broad Haven - there are two Broad Havens about ten miles apart!!! Roads are pretty good all round but the 20mph limit through towns and villages is harrowing.
Staff were very friendly from booking in to breakfast and seeing staff around the hotel.
Room was quite basic but had everything we needed for a 2 night break, did have a slight smell in the bathroom.
Breakfast was between 8 -9:30 with a selection of pastries, cereals, fruit & yogurts that you could have alongside a cooked breakfast.
The walls are quite thin so when there was lots of traffic through the corridors it was quite noisy.
Cheap and cheerful and in the centre of Tenby 👍🏻
The hotel was very clean and kept so by diligent staff. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Situated above the end of the North Beach with great views over Tenby harbour. For us it was ideally situated in a quiet part of Tenby with a nice walk into town. Great breakfast in two sittings. Cooked fresh with waitress/waiter service. Serving staff were great. Rooms are cleaned daily. We really enjoyed our time at the Park and would thoroughly recommend.
the location of the property was excellent for exploring Tenby and the view from the room was outstanding. breakfast was also really good and the lady on reception was very approachable. The price was brilliant for a seafront location in the heart of Tenby hence the overall state of the hotel. we were fully aware of what we were walking into but the price was too good. we really enjoyed our stay and would probably go back for a short weekend break
Great location on the seafront, with a stunning sea view from our bedroom over the beach and across to Caldey island
Room was very comfortable
Breakfast was delcious - we enjoyed the seagull on our windsill who came to watch - but don't feed him !
Town is a short walk away to go for dinner etc. or walk round the harbour or on the beach
Tenby is one of the most lovely towns in Britain.
Such a good stay, location of the guest house is perfect and it comes with parking which is needed in Tenby! The breakfast was lovely and the hosts are lovely, so attentive. We booked a twin room but were offered a small double the day before we arrived as somebody had cancelled which was fab.
