Tenby is a great place for a weekend.Great walks good atmosphere and places to eat.Tried the two big hotels and was disappointed.Third time we I used an apartment.Ten by is great but very busy and a driving nightmare
Tenby is a beautiful place with lovely beaches and places to walk.there are interesting shops, plenty of places to eat and lots of places to visit in the surrounding area. Even in the rain it is a lovely place to be.
A visit to Caldey island is a must taking care to book on a boat from the harbour that lands on the island. Not many do ! Allow a full day to explore all the walks and sights and to get back on The last 5.30 on boat ! The island cafe is rather expensive for basic items and the perfume shop attempted to grossly overcharge with no real apology although we did eventually get a refund ! This occurred at 2 other shops in the town, which is a shame as this type of greed is off putting for tourism. Also the council have gone down the road of charging for toilets. We met several caught out for change for what is really a basic facility that even the Romans provided 2000 years ago ! Young families from the beach were paying out over and over again and complaining at the queue as were the elderly. Do they wish to deter visitors to come to the town ? Tenby has some lovely beaches and interesting alleyways to explore. We found the cafes rather overbusy with limited menus but eventually discovered The Fuscia cafe and had the best vegetarian meal ever ! Tenby is a nice clean town with plenty of attractions .
The nostalgic resort town. Along a seaside walking is very good. The model of Alice's Adventure family stayed there to enjoy the long holidays. The wooden sculpture of Alice's story in the city were not good . We only stay one night, we took dinner at the hotel. Good cook, warm service. Cosy nice hotel.

I loved my stay in this great guest house in Tenby. Just steps from the esplanade, I loved being able to walk along the beach as I walked the couple minutes to and from town. It is near all the sights, but the street it's on is quiet. The room was fantastic, breakfast was delicious and the owners were so kind and friendly. Excellent, relaxing stay!

The positioning of the hotel was 2nd to none and a multi storey car park 50 metres away with parking for 24 hours at £4. Allowed to bring your own food and drinks back also to use at their dining area which was fantastically set up and you could also use their piano. Tim was a fantastic host and would definitely stay there again.

The staff in general were very friendly and accommodating. A perfectly situated location. There is though an exceptionally small hotel car park (if you can call it that), so it’s a little walk from the Tenby multi-storey carpark. 5 minutes tops. I would stay here again. It is tenby after all.

The new management have much refurbishment to undertake: they're well aware of this, and very friendly. The hotel's position at the top of the town, overlooking the North Beach and harbour, is unbeatable and this will soon again be a very desirable hotel indeed to land in. Just now it's not for the picky traveller perhaps but still excellent value for money, and runcibly comfortable with bags of atmosphere, possibly too much or too little for some - but I hope to go there again.
