Stayed here for 2 days to attend a local wedding. Couldn’t have been nicer. The food was great, staff lovely, rooms comfortable. The cookies they put in your rooms are also delicious and such a nice touch.

The room was immaculate, and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was also spotless. The staff where exceptionally polite and made us feel very welcome. The food was incredible, we had dinner and breakfast, the dinner was one of the best meals I have had in years, and I could not fault the breakfast at all. 10/10, we will stay again and I would definitely recommend to others.

Great location and the staff were really nice. We had the family room with sea view (for my husband and I) and the room was spacious and had a lovely window seat to watch the sea. We will deffo come back. It was nice to have a poached haddock option for breakfast too.

Bartender man Mr. Mayur made us feel luckiest to have into this hotel and the Location, other side breakfast cost too much. Rest all looks under budget. The hotel is like old heritage property. Best places to stay if you are early bird to catch the ferry.

I can only give this hotel a 10 out of 10 review. Pre-arrival Emma went out of her way to ensure that we could bring our dog by rearranging bookings so that we had a garden room. She then made sure we had all of the information that we needed for local pubs and restaurants for a Sunday night stay. While there she made us feel exceptionally welcome and at ease in what is a lovely tranquil hotel in a quiet village. The large garden is enclosed and peaceful with a great little sun trap patio. The room was exceptionally clean and well furnished. Tea and coffee was provided (with additional decaff options) and the ensuite bathroom was clean and had plenty of good quality towels. Best of all was that our slightly skittish dog was also made welcome!
