Location was perfect - right on the sea frontage, however, the room was pretty small and very hot.

For us it was near to family so we were able to share with them and treat them in the hotel for meals and we visited local shops etc. We enjoyed walking along the prom. and visited Seaton Sluce, Blythe & Whitley Bay.
Bus services are good if you do not have own transport, Metro also good.

My first time in Tynemouth. It's a really pleasant, attractive little place, easy to walk and cycle around, fantastic beaches and sea views, and a thriving high street with posh places to eat and drink.

Tynemouth has beautiful beaches and views, with plenty of pubs with real ale and cafes. Great place to visit as day trip from Newcastle on the Metro, or as stopping off point on coastal walk/cycle.

I have visited Tynemouth on previous occasions though this was the first time i had stayed there. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate on this occasion but from experience Tynemouth is an excellent place for a relaxing break.
There are coastal walks and History in the town which is very well kept. Also there are several places of interest to visit nearby and the centre of Newcastle is a 20 minute ride on the Metro.

Tynemouth is a great place to stay and convenient to visit other areas. There are plenty of things to do and see and the area caters to all ages. Tynemouth Castle Inn has a fantastic restaurant which is open to all and has an excellent menu and is also a fantastic place to stay
You walk in and it’s not clear we’re hotel reception is, have to walk through bar to get to rooms, never any staff at bar! , nooone greeted you at breakfast or told you how or where to go, no plates out, food look warm. Staff weren’t helpful at all, all to busy talking to each other, the places itself is beautiful, and finished to high standard. But not helpful or noticeable what to do around breakfast etc.
The property is absolutely stunning, we were blown away when we walked in.
Having never been to Tynemouth before we did not know what to expect, but the area, bars, restaurants are walks all exceeded our expectations.
Well equipped, comfortable and attractive apartment close to a park in North Shields. Within walking distance of a metro station and Tynemouth Main Street.
