Located in Upton upon Severn, 23 miles from Gloucester, Old Street B&B provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast. The whole place was amazingly decorated and clean. We were greated by the manager who was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice and was kept well topped up. Nothing was too much trouble. I would stay again, its such a beautiful area with lots to do locally.
Located in Upton upon Severn in the Worcestershire region, honey pod farm has accommodations with free private parking. Lovely alternative to camping. Cosy little pods in a stunning location 5 min drive/30 min walk from Upton - sheep grazing in the field opposite, and a pub on site too!
Honey Pod Farm Bell Tents is located in Upton upon Severn and offers a bar. The property is 13 miles from Gloucester and free private parking is provided. We loved every minute. Everything was clear in the advert no electric and no bedding. Mark was great lovely guy. Massive open space for our Daughter to run round. Didn’t hear anything at night was peaceful. Clean showers and toilet. Kitchen facility done exactly what we needed coffee in the morning with eggs. Village was cute and we went to visit the bigger town Worcester. Played lots of outdoor games on site and everyone staying was friendly.
Stylish 3 bedroom apartment is located in Upton upon Severn. The apartment has city views and is 14 miles from Gloucester. Lovely property, a home from home with a very well equiped kitchen with everything you would need for 6 people. Many pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance, with the spar opposite for anything you forgot to bring. Would certainly go again. Good location for visiting the Cotswolds, and Malvern area. Comfy beds too, always a bonus. Thank you
Great atmosphere, especially if you are a music lover. Very easy to find your way around - all withing walking distance. Plenty of pubs and outside seating areas near the river. Ate at Ye Olde Anchor, very nice Thai curry, friendly staff. I would like to see a wider diversity of restaurants. It would be good to have a Thai and Mediterranean eateries.
A lovely little village a short drive away from Blue Bell Farm to have a look around, a meal at the Jockey which was delicious. A coffee at the Marina. Enough to keep us happy for a full day and night.
I loved where my Hotel The Swan was located, right on the Severn & also very close to other Pubs which I visited. It was right next to The Star which shows Football (always a bonus) & an Indian Restaurant & Shops just up the road. Really enjoyed my stay in Upton, very nice Place & friendly Locals
We ate at the Boat House Restaurant on the River, a couple of minutes up the street from the B&B. Very tasty food (Mediterranean Tapas style) and if you like Pizza and Cocktails, try Mojitos also up the street. There are a few good Pubs and eateries in the village so you can walk everywhere. Everything is very close by the B&B including the normal village shops and convenience stores. There are lots of great walks/cycle routes in the surrounds too.
We stayed for the spring fling music festival. Great area for music events. Loads of great pubs and lovely friendly folk. Sunday evening music wise was a bit of a let down as no acts after 7pm as advertised. The town itself was pretty but due to the constant rain and flooding it wasnt looking its best. We are looking forward to revisiting the area in the summer for more music and to explore the hills hopefully in the sunshine when things look a bit brighter. Thanks for your hospitality Upton.
A small town full of character well worth a visit. Not large and varied enough to stay locally for more than a couple of nights but an excellent base to visit for itself as well as to explore the outlying local areas from. Being relatively close to large conurbations this town fills up at weekends so if you want a quieter time go Mon-Thurs.
