The place was lovely, and Anne and Chris were wonderful. There was a bit of a plumbing issue with the shower, but they immediately called a local plumber to get it fixed. The location is quite remote, with lots of wind and rain, but we were fully expecting that—as you should if you are staying on the Isle of Lewis. Great places to walk, and don’t miss Bosta Beach!

Property was very accessible from the main road. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. They had several suggestions for some local places to check out. Dinner and breakfast were phenomenal. Rooms were clean and showers were hot. Very close to Callanish Stones and local beaches. Would absolutely stay here again.

We liked the location because it was remote, quite and beautiful, and was central to several thing. It was a short drive from Stornoway, close to some of the sights we wanted to see, and a quick shot to Tarbert for the ferry back. The staff was polite and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.

Our stay at Cliff Cottage was just incredible. We loved everything! Starting with our amazon host who went above and beyond for us. She had even prepared something for our toddler - a baby bed, high chair, and more! It was so gracious! She had amazing tips for us even for rainy weather activities and was so easy to contact when we had questions. She even brought us extra coffee when we realized we had forgotten to pick some up. The house is completely stocked with anything you might need. We stayed nearly a week and we felt right at home. We had a fire going every night and played games and made a cozy fire. The location is quiet and beautiful. Sheep, deer and rabbits were all seen from our window each day. It was a great starting point for daily walks and trips around the Isle. We would love to return again and stay at Marie's place! Can't wait! This trip will live in our memories for a long long time!
