Watford's only town-house hotel offers professional and friendly service, with a 24-hour front desk, limited car parking and WiFi, within a 15-minute drive from Harry Potter Studios. Room was clean and nice, very quiet even though we were allocated a room on the ground floor. The bed was so soft I nearly rolled over in my sleep but I like that in hotels so can't complain.

Great for Harry Potter Studios, plenty of night life and good shops. When we were there one of the main through roads was closed and traffic was to say the least, chaotic. Did not venture into town for fear of not getting out again, which was a shame. Good little places for kids to visit - Farmyard World, Gambado and good parks, had the weather been better. Good cinema/leisure complex on A41 with plenty of free parking. Easy travel from a variety of stations into London. Eat at Toby Carvery next to the Hilton, very popular, busy but food was reasonably priced and good. Could only find one place with soft play in the restaurant area, that was the Pavilion. It was like the Marie Celeste when we went in on the Sunday and we wondered if we had made a mistake. Did not start to fill up, and then only a little, until about 1.30pm. The soft play was free and kept little one amused while we waited for our meal. They had three menus, traditional and vegetarian, also a kids menu. Our traditional meal was really good and there was plenty of it! Only thing was they didn't do bitter, only lager.
Disgusted at the standard of this hotel. Honors card holder and use Hiltons all over UK and Overseas all the time and this is by far one of the worst Hilton Hotels and more so the worst hotel i have ever stayed qt EVER
Location was amazing, we visited the Harry Potter Studios and was ideal location. Taxi only 10mins away from Studios. Unfortunately, upon check-in the lady was not the most helpful and came across like she just didn't care.
Watford has great train links into London and brilliant for a stay if visiting Harry Potter studios. As a family we find it easier and more cost effective to stay in Watford and travel into London, than actually staying there. There are lots of places to eat out or get take away foods if you don't want to cook. There are good shopping facilities and easy motorway links.
I used to live in Hemel Hempstead so very familiar with Watford. Lovely shopping area it can get very busy on weekends. Still worth the visit. Didn't go shopping this time. Had commitment early next morning.
Watford was a lovely place to be in with restaurants near by and everyone was friendly and accommodating! We stayed in the Hilton and visited the Making of Harry Potter and that was incredible and would highly recommend!
Good size room with kitchen facilities. Close to the town centre and station.
