The reception staff were very friendly. The cards were not working and so we had to be let into our room. One room was extremely hot due to a radiator and so we had to switch rooms. The room itself was fine. The decor in the hallways seemed dated. We had to go outside to get to the breakfast room and that was almost chaotic - very messy with dirty tables and floors. Expensive and not really high quality.
Warner bros studio tour is amazing the most magical place we have ever been to. Takeaway food places i tried were Mickeys fish and chips and it was lovely also tried Maenes i think it was called and OMG amazing! We travelled by train from Watford to Central London which was easy Our hotel was peaceful and ideal for us
We stayed in Holiday Inn Express as we needed to be as close as possible to Harry Potter, Warner Bros tour which is a 13 minute drive away. The hotel is located right next to the train station so ideally placed for a trip into London. Went to O'Neill's Bar around the corner for a drink and bite to eat. Food not great but ideally located.
Was visiting friends but found that every time I visit Watford there are constant traffic jams and road works. I think that there are too many accommodations being built and no consideration for the access around the town. It’s more like a giant housing estate extended than a shopping high street. It has totally changed to when I used to live there. Next time I will book outside of town or stay at a friends. It might have good links to other towns but there is no character there any more. It’s a lost cause.
At the moment I would not advise you to go to this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time. Since it is now being used as a refugee hotel it is quite noisy with some unpleasant things like people hanging washing out of their windows. If you need a place for 1 or 2 days as business stay over then maybe it would be ok
We were visiting Warner Studios so was ideal place to stay as close to Watford Junction Station and the shuttle bus. We ate at O'neills pub, the food was good and the staff friendly. A good place to eat.
The location is excellent! Just a short 2 minute walk from Watford Junction Station and if you have driven there is car parking available which is very well priced for the area. Close by is the town centre which is suitable for shopping or an evening out, there is a bowling alley and a cinema with some great restaurant choices too! The hotel rooms are lovely! Well presented and very clean!
Watford
Location was a short walk from Watford Junction Station and directly opposite Cassiobury Park. Bus stop opposite. Really convenient for the Harry Potter shuttle bus. Large rooms with sufficient kitchen equipment to create a basic meal. Good, ample private parking to the rear of the building. All enquiries were dealt with promptly and efficiently and you felt looked after.
The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated and in a good location - 10 min walk to Watford Junction Station and 20 mins into the town centre. The beds were comfortable and the owners went out of their way to ensure everything was as we wanted it. The kitchen was well equipped and there was tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and some condiments provided.

Excellent hotel really lovely room, super clean and excellent location to the centre and watford junction train station. Lovely reception area to sit and really impressed with the room. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit watford.
It was hard to find, could do with a big sign outside. I wasn’t the first as another family asked the day after we arrive and asked where it was but according to their information the hotel picture that they received looked nothing like it.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, . Location is good 12 minutes walking from Watford junction to the hotel and you can walk to the city too where all the shops are near by.
Friendly staff, breakfast was GREAT! So much to choose from and good. Nice room! Will book Hilton again. Been twice Bristol and this one and always great.
Good location for harry potter studio and Watford junction train station. Very clean and staff were friendly.
Not very much the pictures on the internet do show a true reflection of the tiredness of the hotel
