Chilgrove Farm offers bed and breakfast accommodations nestled in a picturesque valley on the doorstep of the beautiful South Downs National Park. Very accommodating host, Simon, made sure all was just right. The room was large. He offered us a complimentary breakfast also. Close enough to Chichester and not too far from Brighton and seaside towns. Nice to be in the heart of the West Sussex countryside. We hope to return, thanks :)
Located in Chichester, 5 Charlton Mill Way B&B offers accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden. The bed and breakfast offers a continental or Full English/Irish breakfast.... The owner was very friendly and breakfast was superb. The location was picturesque and quiet and only a few miles from Goodwood racecourse which is where we were headed the next day. Cannot fault it.
Charlton End features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Chichester, 4 miles from Goodwood Festival of Speed. The room was a great size and had beautiful view of the nature and hills. Situated in good location for walking and close to the goodwood horse races. Had a lovely time, our hosts were all delightful and made us feel welcomed.
Set in the South Downs National Park, in acres of rolling Sussex countryside, The White Horse is a country pub offering British cuisine, luxurious bedrooms and free Wi-Fi. Everything! The cute rooms, the attention to detail, the friendly staff, the delicious food and the location.
Take comfortable walking shoes, give yourselves plenty of time, the gardens are magnificent, whichever season you visit. Staff and students absolutely buzz! Great food at The Fox Goes Free, just a very short drive away. Ideally situated for the Weald and Downland Living Museum (see the Repair Shop), Chichester, Goodwood and Cowdray.
Just a short stay for a family wedding. Check-in was totally painless, room was lovely, although there was no lift, so if you are less-able or have reduced mobility you will need to make that clear at time of booking. Staff were really nice, the grounds are fantastic and the views are beautiful. Could easily have stayed longer!
The room was huge also the bed and ensuite bathroom, views and gardens amazing. We stayed in the old vicarage as opposed to the main house which is traditionally decorated which some may fine basic but that was the charm for us. It is also a working collage so staff and students around so just to be aware.
The White Horse was a great pub.. cosy atmosphere, live music and great food. Chichester is less than a 20 minute drive for shopping, pubs and restaurants Great walks/runs/cycles to Kingley Vale.
Different from hotels, with a mixture of overnight guests and large variety of attendees at numerous courses at the college. The house deserves much exploring, it is a place of wonderment, but at present being heavily renovated we didn't have time to lire gardens as attending a wedding but a short walk round the garden before leaving left us thinking we should return to see it at other seasons
The gardens and parkland were open to guests to enjoy. We took breakfast at the college which is buffet style in the refectory/dining room. There is also a bar in the main building were you can relax and not have to drive after a drink. Our room was in Ivy Cottage which has just been renovated and a pleasant walk to the main building. We are retired and found this location just what we required for a short break.
