Westerham
Located in the center of Tatsfield, just outside the historic market town of Westerham, The Bakery Restaurant with Rooms is a 10-minute drive of London Biggin Hill Airport and offers free Wi-Fi and a... The room was large with a little private courtyard. The bathroom was beautifully decorated, very clean and the shower hot and strong. A coffee maker with pods as well as the usual tray was provided which I was very happy with as I dont drink instant. Breakfast was lovely, a full english but any variation could be had including vegetarian which another table requested. We also ate in the restaurant for an evening meal which was excellent with fair prices. The owner and his staff were lovely and very helpful with any queries. We had omitted to mention we were bringing our dog but this wasnt a problem and he didnt make us feel it was.

A bit on the side! is set in Westerham, 4.3 mi from Chartwell, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. This holiday home has a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. This is an amazing property and the owners are amazing as well. It's a spacious two bedroom with TVs in each bedroom and plenty of storage space to unpack. The bedrooms are located away from the main living area which is nice if you need some down time. The kitchen had just about everything we needed. The owners had lovely welcome gifts for us upon our arrival. There is a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owner Barry was extremely responsive and very helpful when we had questions. Easy to communicate with via email (prior to our arrival) and via text during our stay. Grocery shopping and restaurants are close by as is a Barclay's ATM.

In a quiet area, with off-street gated parking, so it feels very safe. Newly renovated, very clean. Cudham (Near Westerham)
Set in Cudham, The Secret Cottage & The Hidden Cottage - Westerham offer their own secluded gardens and barbecue, within one plot. London is 16 mi away. Free WiFi is featured. We loved the setting! A sweet retreat away from (but so close and convenient to) the city. The alpacas were a treat to watch. Our daughter loved having a yard to run around in. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. I will definitely recommend The Secret Cottage to friends and family and would stay there again if we ever find ourselves in London.
Crockham Hill (Near Westerham)
Located in Crockham Hill, 27 mi from Maidstone, Hurst Farm B&B provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. The property is lovely - beautifully refurbished in oak with modern furniture and bathroom. Huge windows to enjoy the view across the woods and fields from the shared communal room and our bathroom. The shared communal room is great if you want to prep a light meal or hang out on the sofas. The swimming pool is fantastic - a great place to hang out on a summer day. The owner is lovely, easy going and attentive and made our stay enjoyable and relaxed. We will definitely be back.
the room was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff helpful but the room was so hot it ruined our 3 day stay and we left a day early and were very disappointed as we were looking forward to this holiday very much. We could not obtain any compensation at all. The wifi was also very poor indeed and the staff explained this was normal.
Interesting history, quaint village, great food at The Grasshopper on the Green. Very friendly. Hever Castle near by, Churchill House, Sevenoakes and not far from coastal points such as the historic Hastings.
Stayed at Westerham as it's close to National Trust property Chartwell and convenient for the M25. There are interesting shops and quite a few eateries but some closed on Monday or for refurbishment. Check before going. Can recommend Tulsi Indian restaurant.
The state of the Days Inn grounds did not bode favourable for the first impression of Westerham. The Council need to have words with them about the general upkeep and monitoring of the area outside the reception/parking areas of the facility. Westerham is a beautiful part of Kent I know the area well as I have grown up in the area. But if hotels\motels are not kept to certain standards this will have adverse effect on the whole area.
General impression was of a potentially lovely town spoilt by premise that were empty or in general need of improvement. The town seemed in need of good hotels, restaurants and nice shops. There is a nice Italian restaurant and shop. There is plenty to enjoy in the vicinity, eg. Darwin's and Churchill's houses, and the Biggin Hill wartime museum and aerial activity.
The village has a beautiful statue of General Wolfe who was born here. At the bottom of the town is his home Quebec House, which is owned by the National Trust. The village has several restaurants and independent shops. Not far away is the lovely Hever Castle and Chartwell, the home of Winston Churchill.
Westerham
very welcoming staff and owner. breakfast was cooked to order and one could have anything one wanted! The sausages and bacon were locally sourced and delicious! Dinner was freshly cooked and a good selection on the standard menu so we didn't choose anything from the 'a la carte' A treat to have heated bathroom floor!!!
Westerham
Great Lodge to stay in. Owner, Barry was very friendly and very helpful. Comfortable beds. Lovely lounge. Smart kitchen. Lots of really nice pubs for lunch close by. Westerham was pretty with some interesting shops. We liked Oxted too. We had a wonderful relaxing week - just what we both needed.
Westerham
Hotel had a relaxed feel to it. Comfy bed but do make sure you are placed in a room at the back otherwise you will hear traffic. I was at the back and was fine. Some friends that arrived later than me stayed in a front room and could hear traffic.
Clean hotel with friendly staff, quick check in. Convenient for work we are carrying out close by. Carparking available for company van and easy access. Secure location and felt happy to leave the van overnight.
