My partner & I have always loved weymouth.we did get rain & wind but we expected it being in February but ,lovely beach even @ night listening to the waves & in the spring & summer it's even better as can enjoy the beach / shops & views ect much more x.the only thing I did worry about though was lots of police presence on the road where we stayed, just a few doors up & cordoned off with police tape & 2 police vans & cars parked outside & never left for the 24 hours we were there .nice places to eat ,we found are the old rooms in pub/ restaurant & the marlboro chip shop/ restaurant which is green outside & has a little bridge over the water near to it where the boats are .

The hotel was lovely and warm. We stayed in December.

The hotel was lovely and warm. We stayed in December. Lovely and dog friendly. The hotel is clean with wonderful friendly staff. Our room was amazing and over looked the sea. Relaxed bar I. The evening with very strong cocktails , which we enjoyed and a great cabaret singer. No small children however lovely they are was a blessing after Christmas Day to be quiet and relaxed. Some wonderful dog friendly restaurants we would recommend The Ship on the harbour , pricey but great food and very friendly and for a fabulous Italian, Nicetta , an Authentic Italian Restaurant. Dog Friendly, great food and wine. Fish and Chips from Bennett’s on the harbour is a must . Maybe give the battered chocolate bars a miss though!!

Absolutely amazing stay at The Mayfair. The hosts Andrew & Clare could not do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. Room was lovely & clean, breakfast was excellent every morning cooked fresh to order, plus selection of cereal, fresh fruit etc…Clare’s homemade cakes for everyone to help their selves to every day were delicious. Hotel in a perfect location on the seafront opposite the clock. Could not fault at all, will definitely book again on a next stay in Weymouth.

Free parking at the hotel. On a quiet street but not far from the centre. Easy check in, clean and comfortable room if a little basic. Travelling with 3 children so they were happy once TV was figured out. Nice pool suitable for families as the deep part is only 1.2 m deep and there is a good sized shallow area as well. Didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on food. Not that cheap but it is Weymouth in July and you can’t go abroad so happy with the price.

Great location. Couldn't believe how quiet it was, despite there being a pub/restaurant next door. Building was lovely and the room and bathroom were very well presented. Chickerell is a great jumping off point, for the centre of Weymouth + Portland, and the private, off road parking. is a fantastic bonus, given that many hotels/b&bs in Weymouth don't have access to this.

Beautiful place, wonderfully situated in the heart of Weymouth. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay there: rooms are kept clean, there's great wifi, and everything needed to make your stay memorable. And I must add that the host is special, goes out of the way to ensure you feel at home. The best shortstay I have ever had.

Location was very good and the Breakfast staff was very attentive and friendly other than that we thought it was overpriced for what it was. Everything in this hotel is dated and perhaps the standards was more akin to a Motel than a Hotel.
