Typical Seaside Town with a abundance of history old and quirky streets, buildings endless choices of Fish & Chips, local people are friendly, ideal for a summer break, plenty of sites to see is a must, we enjoyed our stay. Try Nautico mixture of burgers and ribs lovely staff beautiful building. Town easy to find has all your local shops with the exception of Starbucks.
Lively atmosphere in the town areas, lovely stretch of fine sandy beaches, safe to be out in the late evenings, and using Weymouth as a base, can make day trips to Portsmouth and several other areas easily as the buses were running regularly.
Unfortunately Weymouth suffers from the same air of intimidation and thuggish atmosphere as many UK towns. The bars and restaurants probably cater for hen night and stag dos so its not easy to find places to eat that are truly pleasant. We did find one perfect boozer that was friendly with excellent beer and food and that was The Red Lion. That was a beacon amongst the mediocrity. If you want shot downing fun by night and mixing with the thousands of dog walkers on the beach during the day, then you're in for a treat. Its a shame the rest of us though
What a lovely day out. We did stay at the Smuggler's Inn in Osmington Mills but found parking in Weymouth near the Town Bridge easily. Harbour is really picturesque. Lovely walk all the way to the end of the mole. There is a fort at the end of it to visit. Beautiful place, it was breezy but sunny when we visited. Lots of places to eat, drink and watch the boats come and go. Will go again
Lovely beach and beautiful harbour. As a non-driver public transport links are good. Easy to walk around the town and along the beachfront. Plenty of choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. Good selection of shops.
Plenty of accomadation to choose from. Good choice of places to eat or drink. Because of it being out of season. Somethings were closed which we would like to have done Remember it well from a childhood visit with my family. Loved punch and Judy. And the Sand man work. Which I saw this time took some pictures to show my dad. Enjoyable
Weymouth
Wonderful... The owner is really welcoming and shows great hospitality. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Awesome full English breakfast! Awesome views from my room window, I can see white cliffs, beach, vast ocean and sunrise. The price during my stay was only 157 dollars for 3 nights, so it’s a great value for the money. Everything is impeccable about the hotel. I had a such wonderful time that I extended my journey in Weymouth. I changed my room to the top floor room with sea view. The room is bigger with a more spectacular sea view.
Weymouth
Located on the sea front means the hotel is in an ideal position for walking along the promenade, being able to use the beach facilities & get to the town centre with very little effort. The hotel & room were exceptionally clean & the hosts went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing & filling & kept us going until our evening meal, except for maybe an ice cream. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Marina Court to anyone looking to stay in Weymouth.
Check in & out was very easy to complete and the staff were pleasant whenever I interacted with them. The location was great with facilities close by. The hotel itself isn't in Weymouth town but is located in Bowleaze Cove which is a lovely location. The room itself was generally comfortable, the beds particularly, and the facilities were ok. I did not use the breakfast / bar etc. With the rooms there has clearly been a previous refresh and they do not look as dated as the exterior.
Excellent staff, extremely helpful in all things, easy to get supplies for the room and breakfast buffet very good Despite some comments about the showers, ours had excellent water pressure and temperature control We took the option of free parking at a local car park with a voucher from the hotel, (very little parking at the hotel) and this worked very well Would recommend
Weymouth
We had a spacious room with a fantastic view out over the sea. The location was really great and we enjoyed walking along the front or around the harbour where there were lots of restaurants where we could eat in the evenings. The breakfast at the hotel was a good English breakfast. We did request an earlier breakfast on the day we were leaving and this was arranged.
Weymouth
Host very friendly, large varied breakfast. lovely clean seafront facing room. Dog friendly who allowed pets under table and gave ours a sausage to eat. There is a section of beach open for all pets at all times, very handy! Cheap safe carpark was just around the corner. We will definitely be back. Thanks Graham and Marian.

Lovely hotel in perfect location in front of clock tower. Andrew and Clare couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Relaxed and friendly feel about the hotel and nothing was a problem. Would definitely book again on my next walking trip around Weymouth.
Weymouth
2nd stay at this hotel. Great location, rooms good ad clean. Comfortable beds, great breakfast and friendly hosts. Bonus if you get a parking permit which allows parking close to property (if spaces available). Very good covid management without being restrictive. Will definitely be back.
Weymouth
The room was a perfect base to explore Dorset. Based just outside Weymouth it's nice and quiet but easy to drive into town or to any of the local attractions. Sue was a super friendly and helpful host. Very comfortable bed and all the facilities we needed for a long weekend.
Everything was very good, the only big problem was nothing to do with the Hotel, it was trying to find a parking space!! Complete nightmare. That has to be sorted out. If Weymouth wants tourists to come, please sort out either cheaper, or free parking.
Jonathon was so welcoming from booking our stay to welcoming us at the door. The room was everything we needed as we spent most time exploring Weymouth. The location was perfect and the hotel had it's on bar which was a lovely touch.
Weymouth
The toilet was exceptionally clean and all the customer service was excellent. The bed was really comfy. I work in customer service and lived in hotels for 4 months. This was the best b and b that I have stayed in.
The family run hotel was lovely, great hospitality and service, excellent facilities, nice and cosy, and amazing beachfront location. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable which most places fail at.
Breakfast wasn't included in the price but it was my choice not to include this service, customer service was outstanding in the hotel and the information to what was going on and aound weymouth
