Our 3 weeks at Loughview were so enjoyable, like home from home. Orla and Steve were wonderful hosts, and we had a welcome each day from adorable Luna. Leaving Loughview on our last morning was like saying goodbye to family. Bangor is a long way from Perth WA but some day if we return we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else other than Loughview. We had such a lovely stay here! The room was absolutely gorgeous and massive, with a really nice bathroom with a large shower. Everything was in perfect condition and it was just so beautiful, I was amazed by the luxury for this price. Kettle, fridge and hairdryer were available in the room. TV had many channels and Netflix available. Breakfast was delicious. The bar next door has a small dinner menu but upstairs there is a restaurant where we had an amazing dinner, definitely recommended! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and we could leave our luggage after checkout in a safe spot so we could go explore the castle.

The character of the house, its position overlooking the sea and the complete peace at night. We asked for an early breakfast on Sunday morning and it was served exactly on time and very cheerfully.

A lovely cottage in a seaside location with a shop and pub within 5 min walk. The cottage itself is charming and full of character and has everything one would expect. I'd highly recommend it.
