So peaceful and quiet. Very welcoming to two tired Harley riders. Dinner followed by walk up to castle. Glorious views of surrounding countryside. Breakfast was delicious . Close by Ludlow and Mortimer forest. Defo worth another visit.

Village is quiet which is great if you're used to living somewhere busy. The ruins of the castle are worth a look as the views from the top are superb. There is a small shop which is reasonably well stocked. Stayed at Castle Inn where all the staff were really friendly which added to making a relaxing break. Thank you to all of them. Would suggest checking a real road map as satnav took us along a very narrow single track road on the way there. Excellent countryside views around the area. Great trip.

I have already filled one of these in for Castle Hotel, Wigmore. I praised welcome from Jane, spacious, well-furnished and appointed room, artwork, large open wardrobe, good bed, extra pillows, reading lamps, TV, good shower, large fluffy towels, and nice food.
