Wesley House offers accommodations in Winchcomb. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar which features the original fireplace. Each room is fitted with a TV. Loved the history of the Wesley House. Built in the 1400's! Every single person who helped us there was very personable, the nicest employees of all the places we stayed along the Cotswold Way. The breakfast was amazing and the glass breakfast room views beautiful! This was my favorite place we stayed. There was piano music we could hear in our room as we were going to sleep but it was so nice it put you to sleep instead of keeping you up.
Formerly a coaching inn dating back to the 1500s, The Lion Inn is located 15 minutes’ drive from the large spa town of Cheltenham and features an on-site restaurant and bar. The staff were beyond amazing. Cleona was kind, helpful and so upbeat - she definitely made our stay more enjoyable. The room was impeccable, food absolutely incredible (would recommend everything on the menu) and the pub garden/location is phenomenal. Would wholeheartedly recommend The Lion Inn to everyone!

Located in Winchcombe in the Gloucestershire region, George III is a 4-star property featuring free WiFi. Set 1969 feet from Sudeley Castle, the property offers a garden and free private parking. Nice hideaway for a couple of days in the Cotswolds. Clean, dog-friendly and lots of nice walks starting right at the door
Classic Cotswolds Village. Lots to see. You need to make a week of your visit to do the area justice. Ate at three separate establishments of an evening including a Chippy and two Pubs. Easyish to get to , but take care if without personal transport. Bus services can be infrequent and also very few on Sundays/ Public Holidays. Heritage Railway (Gloucester and Warwickshire Railway) runs from Racecourse Station in Cheltenham, to Broadway calling at Winchcombe.
Pokey little town with narrow streets and antique shops. Restricted parking so you can't stay long. As a market town for the surrounding area it looks great and I'm sure locals enjoy it. Many places to eat in the evening so perhaps this is where to come if you're living or holidaying in a cottage nearby.
Long stay parking £1 per day and free on Sunday. Friendly people. Good selection of independent shops. Lots of places to get tea and cake, including the antique place. Close to Cheltenham and many other places to visit including the steam railway. Can walk to Sudelely castle. so much history- there is a museum in the town. Quite a few pubs and places to eat meals. Food at Wesley house very good- dinner and breakfast.
Winchcombe is a lovely quaint Cotswold (I think) village. The nearby Sudeley castle is a must visit - it is steeped in history and the gardens are beautiful. The locals we met were very welcoming and the village seems quiet
Have stayed in self catering cottages in Winchcombe before many years ago. We first looked at these this trip but found they did not offer such good value for money for a couple as the Lion Inn. It's a lovely little town in the middle of the Cotswolds great as a centre for visiting the various villages and for walking.
Small town full of history with Sudeley castle on the edge of the town. The castle has wonderfully grounds. There are lots of walks including the Cotswold Way. Plenty of shops and restaurants surrounded by rolling hills. Lovely part of the world.
