The Grove is an exquisite property just outside of Narberth - a beautiful small Welsh Town and to the north of Saundersfoot and Tenby. Deep in the countryside with rolling fields and thriving nature. The grounds and walled gardens of the hotel are maintained absolutely beautifully. The Grove’s rooms and multiple public areas exude understated Welsh luxury. Very comfortable indeed. Food and drinks excellent and staff absolutely lovely.

Clean, airy and pleasant room with great bathroom and shower. Good TV, and wi-fi. Enjoyed the full breakfast too. Free on-site parking is always a bonus, and with Plas Hyfryd just a short walk from the top of Narberth's main street the location could hardy be more convenient for a short break in the town.

Really lovely hotel, rooms comfortable. Everything we needed. In all honesty though the best thing about the hotel is the staff, such lovely helpful, warm staff working Friday and Saturday. They were amazing! A credit to the hotel!

Absolutely perfect across the board. Tent was immaculate and comfortable, all the facilities right there (kitchen had everything including coffee press, showers were hot, fire was well worth the small cost of firewood), staff were great, location was pretty and quiet, nearby town was charming. Pembrokeshire is a lovely area to visit and this place is ideal for accommodation if you want total peace and tranquility in a very secluded place. You do need a car to get there. nearest big town is Haverfordwest just a few miles away.

Beautiful surroundings with great views and walks.

Beautiful surroundings with great views and walks. A lovely comfortable room with all the necessary conveniences. No lifts available so my mother had a problem with the stairs. Had to book a time for breakfast as there was limited space however the food and staff there were excellent. Would recommend as a quirky comfortable hotel.

Views from our room window were beautiful, as was the setting and various walks around the grounds. It was peaceful. A delight! The room was nothing more than what I would expect for the price, the bed was comfy, it was warm and clean. The large jacuzzi bath was a huge hit. A fridge/chiller would be a great improvement. The level of staffing really let the place down. I felt for the one member of staff who was dealing with reception, the bar & locking up. Reception on occasion was unmanned. Guests were complaining mainly about the lack of communication regarding the reduced hours of the bar and reduced opening days of the restaurant (I must add we were sent an email advising us). One couple cancelled their second night to rebook else where and failed to receive their breakfast that morning.

The hospitality was perfect.

The hospitality was perfect. We were lucky with the weather was perfect so we enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace. We had our puppy with us so that was a perfect solution. Dogs are very welcome here. A splendid short stay

This place is in the middle of nowhere.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. It’s a daunting drive into the place. The building is rundown and looks like a mental hospital or a old jail. The place is not pretty at all. The staff were not very friendly. If u have a android device it won’t work Apple struggled. There is nowhere to go or walk. It has a weird sad feeling all around. I felt trapped the walls are thin. The food is nothing speshial over priced. The bar has 6 seats if that. It shuts at 9. All staff go home and ur left to it. The room wasn’t nothing really and wasn’t what we expected. The crowd from rooms are boring and didn’t want to look out after 9 it made me feel uncomfortable. The bed was massive and comfortable I will say that. I wouldnt go back if it was free not even for a hour. Boring odd feeling sad ugly place with nothing to offers tall I Felt like a prisoner. It’s not award winning. I sat awake as I couldn’t wait for day light. U can take a walk around the grave yard or the estuary of sincking sand. My advice don’t bother.

Stunning location, quirky hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. We bought our dog again, it's great for dogs and we chose a ground floor room for this reason, we bought our own dog bed bowl etc luckily as none provided on this occasion, last time there was a doggy welcome pack and bed etc. But no problem as we'd come prepared. Weve now stayed in 3 'grades' of room. First time Top Knotch, Dunluce 2, 2nd visit Orangery 3, and this time Orangery 2 which was very comfortable and we'd choose again.

This was a beautiful hotel, room, gardens and wonderful view over the lake. It exceeded our expectations as lovely style. We had a lovely meal outside on the terrace overlooking lake. The only reason I knocked the score down was the electrics in our room were a bit odd, I had no working light on my side of the bed which caused issues through the night… and we had no electrics by our bed so could not charge phones easily. But I would come back! It was very special

Stayed here a few times due to my work commitments down west, brilliant hotel in amazing settings. Rooms are spotless and cosy, also it’s a very peaceful environment which allows to relax and enjoy the stay. The staff deserve a mention too as they are friendly and helpful which all adds to a great stay.

Scenery that the hotel is situated in. Nice room although attention to detail e.g. towels and bedding stained, no plug in the basin let it down. Local bottled water and welsh cakes were a nice touch.
