A beautiful little city, not as touristy as York or Chester but along those lines. Getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Station (handy for day trips to Gloucester, Great Malvern and Hereford) and you're straight into the middle of town, loads of shops and restaurants, excellent museum, heavenly cathedral, Friar street, a lovely medieval road, includes the Tudor house museum. There is also a Royal Worcester pottery museum which is excellent....recommended. NOTE: A few Worcester attractions are closed Mon & Tue....need to check !!

This is a beautiful historic city which is well worth a visit for non-history buffs too. It offers shopping, sightseeing, plentiful "hospitality" venues, and its setting astride the River Severn offers countryside and walking too. What more could you ask for in a city break ?

Lovely university city, which was very easy to get around on foot. The cathedral is magnificent. We also visited the Porcelain Museum which was very interesting and there is a lovely riverside walk. Plenty of choice of cafes and restaurants.

Frequently visited for weekend getaways as there is a great selection of eateries and character pubs to spend time in. Walking along the river is nice, there are some stunning buildings and a good selection of shops.

Plenty of places to eat, from snacks to restaurants. Many interesting buildings and museums, though unfortunately many places of interest are not open on Mondays. Extensive pedestrian area and interesting side-streets.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and good value for money. Beer garden was the best I have seen. There was plenty of tables outside and also a covered area that had heaters. There was a brilliant area for children to play in that is safe and secure. The level of cleanliness is exceptional. We had our dog and the location was perfect with great walks nearby. We are travelling from Scotland to Torquay and this was a fabulous hotel to break the journey. A great start to our holiday.

The property was just like the pictures described, it was clean, easy to access and the property management company always responded to emails fast. Another huge plus being in City Centre you're within blocks of a lot of good restaurants, the Worcester Foregate station is within a block of the flat. All utilities worked well. While we stayed there all guests were extremely quiet, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. I'm sure when we visit again, I'll try and book here.

The location is great, 5 min walk to cathedral and all attractions 4. Loved the bath tub in the room 5. Kettle in the room is very handy (tea/coffee)

Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s not The Ritz, but I did not expect it to be. We six elderly friends met at the hotel for a night out in Worcester. Location perfect. Comfortable night’s sleep in my family room. Breakfast fry up with coffee/tea and orange juice was great value at £6.00.

Spacious and comfortable room, good bathroom. Fairly quiet when I stopped. Close to the historic part of town. Breakfast ("the best in Worcester") is oversold - okay if you like buffet cooked items, but not much choice otherwise. Would use the hotel again but eat out!
