Clean room and bathroom, nice housekeeping staff. Poorly trained reception manager, reception staff and bar staff. Breakfast first morning good, Evening meal in bar overpriced and tables left with plates and glasses on them, staff did not tidy up and stood chatting, they could not pour a pint ! Lack of care for visitors, planned power outage not mentioned on arrival and we were missed out when messages put in rooms! Hence no warm breakfast second morning, showered in dark and couldn’t dry hair! Apparently we should have read signs (which we hadn’t seen) Left feeling underwhelmed with breakfast issue not sorted ! Reception Manager emailed when we arrived home to offer less than the two breakfasts cost back, I rang and ended up getting a much better response from assistant manager and a better amount back, however I would not recommend nor stay again!
The hotel and golf course were great. Lovely walks nearby. Taxi ride from away from a large shopping centre. Nice hot water for showers with lovely fluffy towels. Only downfall was the price of their coffees that were half full (too much froth) but hey can put up with that.
We used the Worsley when we dropped off our daughter at university. The staff were very friendly. It certainly looks like a good place for golfers as an observer at the 19th hole. A swimming pool is always a bonus, and my wife liked the rest of the spa's amenities. The room was comfortable, and I would be happy to return. Only issue would be to ensure the full English breakfast is piping hot.
We were greeted at the desk by pleasant and efficient staff. Our room was excellent, well laid out with plenty of space to relax in, We slept well, and after a good nights sleep we had an amazing full English breakfast, but eveybody could enjoy whatever suited them, from cooked breakfast to continental breakfast, also there was provision for vegans, diabetics, gluten free, dairy free, and anything else we needed, we only had to ask. An amazing and comprehensive meal to start the day with. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
I have just recieved a parking fine for when I stayed at this hotel. The attitude of the male reception person was that it was my fault. He did not try to help me even though he could confirm my details over the phone. He declined to contact the parking company on my behalf. Asking for me to email them instead. Poor poor poor service.
Ideal location for visiting RHS Gardens Bridgewater. Staff very welcoming, breakfast good , dinner could be a more varied menu especially if staying for more than one night . Room pleasant , a couple of lamps were not working .
The staff were friendly and the location nice. The hotel is in a small village called Worsley and it has a nice canal near by.
We regularly visit Worsley Park for special events in the area. We always love the facilities and the pool
