Located between Sevenoaks and Maidstone with easy access to M20, M26 and M25. Newly renovated, this privately owned 13th century inn is now a 4 star AA rated hotel. A really cosy pub/hotel. staff were so welcoming. couldn’t do enough for us. The food was really excellent and punching above its weight for a little country pub. Very flexible with veggie options when we asked. good wine list. Rooms were cosy with good quality beds and linens. Just a very cute little place with some nice country pubs round the corner.
Located in Kent, on the A20 midway between Sevenoaks and Maidstone, this luxurious guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodations with free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site. Lovely hosts, fabulous breakfast, very comfortable clean room with superking + bed !
Set in Meopham, Beechfield Cottages provides accommodations with free WiFi and barbecue facilities. The accommodations features a spa bath. The holiday home includes a countryside view. Clean, well furnished cottage, friendly hosts. Complete breakfast was provided as well.
Built in 1806, this Georgian mansion is set within 12 acres of lush countryside in Kent. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is splendid, a good selection, served well and quickly, with plenty of tea and juice. We also ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and this did not disappoint, the hotel clearly has a good chef. We booked spa treatments, used the pool and the fantastic terrace lounge with comfortable outside furniture, a lovely secluded spot ideal for sun bathing. The waiter service in the lounge is very efficient and a very nice terrace to sit on a warm evening.
Located within 6 miles of Ightham Mote in Sevenoaks, UPTHEDOWNS B&B has accommodations with a TV. The bed and breakfast offers a continental or Full English/Irish breakfast. Beautiful and really comfortable accommodation. Really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast setting me up for my day’s walking. Would definitely recommend it.
Unfortunately we never got to stay here, initially we had booked a smoking room, a week before we was due to stay, an hour prior to arrival we was informed they was all overbooked and we wouldn’t be getting one, although an alternative was offered, it wasn’t what we had booked.
i Was so disappointed in our stay at the bull inn, room was very small and very cold when we arrived, we had to contact reception to get the heating turned on!! Food wasn’t very good, menu in restaurant for dinner was not very variable didn’t enjoy it at all best course was the starter. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
If I'd have had a better bedroom with full hight all around would have in proved the quality of my stay. All round good. But shame about wrong attitude from 1st member of staff. Everyone else was lovely.
Plenty of nearby places to eat, the Vinyard restaurant next door to the b&b was expensive so we went further a field. We visited Rochester but only spent a short time there but will definitely go again, so much to do there, castle, cathedral and narrow cobbled streets with many individual shops to browse. West Malling is a quaint town but very busy in the evening...you need to book to get into any restaurant there. There wasn't much in Wrotham but you're so close to other places it didn't matter.
Perfect place to stay as there’s so many wonderful places to visit within a 45 minute drive; Hever Castle, Chartwell, Sissinghurst Castle Gardens and Ightham Mote just to mention a few! So many wonderful restaurants to choose from, all with varied menus and excellent service.
Friendly efficient staff in the hotel and on the phone when calling to ask for early check in. Near motorway. Plenty of onsite parking. Good size room. Food at breakfast and sandwich lunch fine but appalling coffee- cappuccino and latte - served from machine at breakfast. Tasteless, watery, milky liquid with no coffee taste but left sweet aftertaste. Nasty.
We had a great choice for breakfast and tested a few combinations, all superbly cooked and presented by Andy. Sue is a wonderful, bubbly, friendly hostess and we could not have wanted for more. Very impressed by examples of Andy's wood-working skills too! We shall definitely return next time we are able to escape to Kent again.
Food was cheap produce, served as a buffet and very poor, i would expect to pay less than £5 for that standard of breakfast
Breakfast was excellent, hot and very nice. Location of the hotel was perfect for the event we were attending.
