Jo, the publican, was very friendly when we checked in. She gave us a better, ground floor room for my disabled grandma (I did not even have to ask). All staff in the pub were very helpful both at dinner and breakfast. The room has recently been refurbished, everything was very clean and new. Very good value for money for the 3 of us. Good food in the pub at dinner. Tasty full English breakfast, with fruit, cereals and yogurt also available.

It’s an old building. Used to be a school. Beautiful and full of history. Great food!!!!!! Excelent breakfast Also, serves dinner, I recommend to check until what time it’s open, and make reservation, so they open the dining room which is beautiful. Useful to have a car. As it is not walking distance from anywhere.
