Traditional English breakfast was perfect. Our hosts were the nicest people, took time to help plan our road trip further into the UK and also suggested places to visit in and around Dalwood. Room was clean and comfortable and the ambiance of the property was very relaxing. Property was a little off the mainstream, but a very rewarding experience and definitely worth a visit. Take time to go to hill at the top of the town and the vista over the valley looking into Dalwood is amazing.

It was a perfect place for some rnr whilst visiting friends in Somerset. A lovely old building that had once been a Mill. The grounds were lovely, a stream, lake daffodils and a peacock and peahen made it so very welcoming. The owner and I chatted a lot and I was made to feel extremely welcome. I slept well and comfortably. I only needed a light evening meal which they were happy to do and lovely cooked breakfast in the morning before heading off. I would recommend Hornsbury

The facilities around the Belfry were non existing the shower we were offered was way to small anyone quite large would not have gotten in if you wanted to go out for evening meal you couldn't unless you drove somewhere and you wouldn't be able to have an alcoholic drink with it due to the country lanes drive back taxis don't exist until Thursday's at the earliest we only stayed one night and escaped thank god the money we paid doesn't matter to us and I think if you check your records you will see this for yourself I think you should remove this place from your list so no one else gets a booking that is misleading with incorrect information 😒😒😒

There is a pub, just over the road from the Belfry that shut (lease not being extended) on 09 Jul 22. However there are a number of pubs etc. just a short drive from the property. Yarcombe is very small, there is a church and on a Saturday morning a small market in the village hall, which we went round and there were some nice things to purchase.

Small village. Church opposite the accommodation. On main road with easy access to tourist destinations. Lots of local pubs for evening meals are often down very narrow country lanes which can make driving adventurous.

I stopped over at Yarcombe on my way down to Cornwall. It’s a great location for this kind of stopover. Beautiful building and the room was great - comfortable bed and modern bathroom with lovely touches. There was also a lounge room, a shared fridge you could use and a bit of outdoor space. Staff responsive to messages and made me a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning.

It a lovely characterful building. It’s is immaculately clean and comfortable. There are nice toiletries and thoughtful touches for guests, such as coffee bags. The breakfast cooked to order is one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. The owners are lovely and kind.

The Belfry Hotel was absolutely beautiful the rooms were very clean and well equipped such a nice touch with bathrobes and face pads and earplugs for when the church bells would go through the night it's such a relaxing location with stunning views
