An absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful hosts! The location is truly magical — right by the river, with stunning views of the towers and enormous mountains from the window. It honestly feels like you’ve stepped into a fairytale. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. There was plenty of hot water in the bathroom, and the room stayed warm and comfortable, which is especially nice considering how chilly it can get outside even in August. We really loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place! ❤️

The best place to stay in Ushguli! If you are visiting Ushguli, look no further than Guesthouse "Stumari". Simon and Eto are amazing hosts who made me feel like family. I stayed for one night, and waking up in the morning to the most spectacular, breathtaking views of Lamaria Church and Mount Shkhara from my room was an absolute dream. The guesthouse also features a wonderful restaurant on the first floor with very delicious meals. Thank you, Simon and Eto, for going above and beyond to make my short stay so special! I will definitely return.

The hosts were incredibly lovely and welcoming, they immediately helped us with all our wet hiking gear and heated us up by the stove. Very friendly people and was lovely chatting and getting to know them. The food was amazing and very generous portions! Also they have three beautiful cats that are very friendly :))

This guesthouse was the most satisfying night of my four-day trek from Mestia to Ushguli. Firstly the location, although you can see on the map that it's not in the centre of the village, I think it's not only less crowded than the guesthouses in the middle of the village, it's got a small courtyard and a really nice view. Also, the food here was the best I've had in four days of trekking. Last but not least, the host family is very welcoming, serving us with tea and wine, and their third daughter, anna, is really adorable! I highly recommend this guesthouse.
