This place was phenomenal! The views, the walks/hikes around, the food, and Levan, who was a really helpful host and caring for us. He arranged us a horse trip, transportation to Mestia, helped with our fear of dogs (😅), etc. The rooms are really big, clean, the beds are comfy and the blankets are warm. I would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon!

We stayed 5 nights and everything was perfect - room was fresh and clean. Mattress was excellent and bed linen was so comfortable, that I really enjoyed sleeping in this hotel. Breakfast was great too - it was good variety, tasty and different options every day. People are the best here - they really helped us with our needs. And view is 360 degrees mountains - beautiful.

The hotel is situated in an amazing location. The hotel owner is exceptionally hospitable and an engaging conversationalist. The service is notably friendly. The dishes prepared by Chef Sergo are simply exquisite.

I spent 4 days hiking to Ushguli and then got a matruska back to Mestia. I thought to myself that I needed someplace luxurious to stay for the night. I'm happy to say that my experience at Hotel gold tower exceeded my expectations I was first greeted by the warm smile of the lovely manager Sofia, who ensured my every request was catered for. The bed was heavenly for my tired muscles after the long difficult hike through the mountains! When I awoke I found one of the tastiest breakfasts I have ever enjoyed, waffles with berries, assortments of spreads, hot food and Khachapuri.

Silent location aside from the main street. Even though there is no conditioner in the room it was cool in there at night. The bed linen is fresh, comfy bed. The breakfast is great: buckwheat is sth that I like and yummy pancakes with a variety of jams. Tea and coffee are available in the kitchen all the time throughout the day. Responsive and attentive family owners, helped me with the airport transfer.

This is a very good value hotel, which is primarily used for tour groups. The hotel is only ten minutes walk from the centre. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the mountains which was very good. The room is a good size and the twin beds were surprisingly, extremely comfortable. Simple breakfast but adequate. WiFi in our room was very weak, however in the reception area there is a strong signal. Outside the front of the hotel in the garden, there is a very good covered terrace area with plenty tables and chairs. The manager was very pleasant and helpful with any requests. Overall great value.

Clean hotel, well located, all the amenities you might need for the stay were already there. Balconies, chimneys, etc. Complete kitchen, clean bathroom, it was a very pleasant time there. Something that I might say is that Pata and family’s attention toward guests is awesome. He is the best guide ever, and all the time made us feel more that welcome!!!

Perfect accommodation. Central, shops, restaurants. From the bus station towards Kutaisi, it's about a 7-minute walk. Be careful: there is also an Ailama Guesthouse (not a Hotel!), but in the opposite direction. Comfortable bed, cleanliness, new, balcony, refrigerator. Coffee machine, kettle (tea) in the common dining room. Each room is accessible by stairs, there are several floors, ladies manage it, you carry your luggage up yourself. Breakfast is adequate, with several types of food, but unfortunately not "Georgian" and it is not very available before 9:00. For earlier departures (buses to Kutaisi, for example, leave at 8:00 in the morning) they give you a food package.
