Set on Paradise beach, Santana Beachclub offers accommodations, a restaurant, a garden, a bar and a private beach area. Some units feature a balcony and/or a terrace with lake or pool views. the breakfast was English and it was good i really enjoy it with my wife. and i will also like to recommend the staff of there niceness and friendly through out our stay they make the environment so nice to us to the extend i will i was in side a five star hotel like coco ocean or other five stars hotel in the Gambia the hospitality was excellence and i will share my experience with friends and family my co-worker about this wonderful small paradise in sanyang.

The place was really nice Paradise Beach is the right name for the beach there.. Quiet and peaceful place. Super staff, very helpful. (Except Gaz ..watch the money and on him). Others were really very friendly and helpful. I must mention Mr Ousman who was really amazing. Very basic European style breakfasts but you can arrange local ones :). Other foods were very tasty. Big praise to the cooks.

Beautiful beach.
Beautiful beach.. love paradise beach especially at sunset. Perfect. beach for long walks Many b & b resorts along the beach and I've stayed at a few all pleasant and great price if your on a budget. Most have good WiFi ( free) if your not looking for luxury and just want clean en suite room to sleep then you in the right place. Several activities take place such as wrestling and drumming with African dancing, reggae night, boat rides, there is a nearby fishing village.. for a more tranquil stay if you go further along beach past the fishing village its so calm and peaceful...and can lunch at Mama Africas.

Sanyang is a nice african village. Here you can experience everyday African life without tourist influences. I had dinner at Arijana - just heavenly - Resort. I got this insider tip, as the restaurant is normally not open for the public. I asked and the owner Maline Lowe cooked great shrimps From Sanyang it is easy to get wherever you want by taxi! In any case view the Paradise Beach

As always Sanyang is my favourite resort in Gambia.
As always Sanyang is my favourite resort in Gambia. There is no pressure or hassle on tourists. There are a number of small beach bars where the locals are happy and friendly and will rustle up a bbq with fish caught fresh that day. If you like African drumming the local band play every afternoon and are some of the best drummers in the Gambia. They have just built a Drumming Workshop right on the beach so anyone wanting the learn djembe can have lessons from very experienced musicians at a very reasonable price. Getting into the Village during the okay is just 5 mins in a local taxi and costs about £1. the only problem is after 9pm at night going out is difficult

On the first contact it looked a nice fisherman harbourg. The local buisnessboys were overwhelming and agressive, iff you ventilated different opinion with them, they became agressive. There was for me a feeling of unsafety and leack off local outhoritys.
