Located in Bouillante, Eden de Caraïbes has accommodations with seating area. The accommodations have a hot tub. Location!!! View!!! Property manager!!!! This area was hands down our favorite from our trip (we were in St Francois area then visited Le Saints, Deshaies, St Claude). The view from these apartments is absolutely stunning. You have a constant view of the pigeon islands from your bed/balcony/breakfast table. The physical location of the place is also an incredible selling point. It is about four minutes drive to some of the best snorkeling beaches in Basse Terre- it is close to grocery stores, it’s close to calm beaches, it’s close to excursion centers but far enough away from the main road and congested parking and noise that you can relax and take in the scenery and peacefulness. It is the perfect place to set up base to explore the island. May (the property manager) is wonderful- she went above and beyond her job requirements- she arranged to let us stay 2 extra nights when our flights got rescheduled, she had our washer replaced with a brand new one when we were having washing machine problems, she called our rental car company and got our rental extended (we hardly speak any French), she also booked us Le saints ferry tickets and set up a whale watching tour for us as well. She was amazingly helpful, hardworking and positive. She took care of us and we’d come back just to see her again. Cedric also works on the property and although we only met him briefly you can tell that these people are genuine.
Featuring a swimming pool, a garden and a bar and views of the garden, Résidence Pommes Cannelles is located in Bouillante and provides accommodations with free WiFi. Very nice, helpful and uncomplicated hosts! Wonderful garden and bungalow, same applies to the lovely pool and breakfast area. Awesome snorkeling spot right below the property - saw a barracuda first time! Very nice and low price local car rent just a hundred meters away. Everything on the island (both parts) is easily in reach by car. The Jaques Custoe diving/snorkeling spot (with sea turtoises very close to one of the beaches!) is only 10min away by car - a place which is also nice to hang out, swim and talk to people. The rhum carambole is awesome!
Featuring a garden, Caribbean Sea has accommodations in Bouillante with free WiFi and sea views. The hosts were very welcoming and had good suggestions on what to do in the area. The place was immaculate with a wonderful view of the ocean. The kitchen was fully equipped with eveyrhing needed to make a home cooked meal. The patio was a great place to relax, lounge, and take in the views. Renting a vehicle is essential in that area because of distances to attractions, or narrow or sometimes nonexistent sidewalks. We hope to visit again and highly recommend Caribbean Sea.
Papaye is located in Bouillante. Located on the beachfront, this property has a garden, a private beach area, barbecue facilities and free WiFi. Everything. Alfred is a fantastic host. He will make your stay unforgivable. This is by far the best property in which we have stayed in Guadeloupe.
Featuring a garden, GÎTE MORINGA has accommodations in Bouillante with free WiFi and garden views. The resort is brand new, spacious and feels so fresh. All the rooms have air-conditionning, there is a nice kitchen and a nice garden with a picnic table too. The family is really welcoming and Emile, Yolaine and Florence are super nice people to talk to and have a drink or two to share with. The location is great too. Very close to the famous Thomas's natural hot baths and a few minute drive from bouillante.
Le Nid Tropical has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace in Bouillante. The air-conditioned rooms provide a pool view and come with a closet and free WiFi. Sylvie and her husband were very hospitable and friendly, we had an excellent time there and Sylvie and Jean-Pierre are fabulous hosts, Jean Pierre is very hard working and available till the last moment he is a real gentleman and Sylvie has a great taste for art and colours, the view was amazing, and they gave us a bottle of home made rhum to celebrate and so much more to say but a big thank you and see you again due to lack of space. Diamantis & Agata
Have to admit - didn't do much in Bouillante because we were always on day trips. We even missed the hot springs which actually looked very inviting with lots of people (but far away from being crowded) enjoying it as you could see while driving by. Grocery shopping is perfect there. The close Malendure beach is the actual attraction here I would say. Please excuse me if I do Bouillante wrong here. Just couldn't check out everything in just 8 days ;) So my recommandations about Bouillante mostly apply to the things you can do/see around Bouillante.
bring your umbrella, it rained every day we were there during the first week of March. The swing raised bridges at the zoo are great. The snorkeling is good in the very calm ocean. The grocery stores are just like the ones in France. The French lentils and cookies are extra special.

Very friendly owner who welcomed us personally, allowed us to arrive even earlier and prepared a nice welcome package with fruits, water, juice and the traditional rum scrubb. The house is very cozy and comfortable with a great view on Île de Pigeon. It is very good located close to Bouillante with its great snorkeling beaches and not too far from all the other things to discover on Basse Terre island.

The views were spectacular. It was private. I liked that we could pre-order dinner or breakfast. Meals were served on the deck overlooking the ocean! Hosts were friendly and helpful and only there when you needed them. It felt like a private hotel.

Host was very friendly (although there was a language barrier, due to us not speaking french properly), view was fantastic, semi-outside kitchen was the perfect place to cook when we didn't feel like eating out. A/C in the bedroom works very well.
