The property is located in Chora at the top of the center. It’s just a 1 minute walk down to the center of the city, which has a lot of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. It’s also just where the stairs to the church starts (which I highly recommend climbing to see the sunset). The room was equipped with everything we needed and we especially appreciated the two balconies, allowing us the opportunity to sit both in the sun or in the shade. The pool area was very quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

What a great stay we had at the Anemi!...Wonderful breakfasts, a beautiful main pool, excellent rooms and air conditioning, nice bar, and our own private pool! Location right above the port is super convenient for getting out on the water, which is the primary way to visit the best beaches and coves in Folegandros because many are not accessible by car. Only a few minutes by car or bus from the main town Chora. We will hopefully be returning another summer soon!

The quiet location, just a few minutes walk from Chora old town was perfect. The amazing view looks out over fields toward the Church of the Panagia on the hill above town. Lucia and Edwin took terrific care of us, from picking us up at the ferry to providing incredible fresh-made breakfasts each morning. The property has been comfortably and beautifully restored with quality materials and furnishings to maintain the historic feel.

We booked 5 nights at Anerada Sunset and had a wonderful stay. Panos and Marina are amazing people who went above and beyond to ensure that we had had a pleasant experience. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We would highly recommend Anerada Sunset and would definitely stay there again if ever we return to Folegandros. 😊

I loved staying at Paraporti Hotel. Firstly, the location is spectacular. Just outside is a town square where you have the most amazing views of the ocean. It's close to shops and restaurants and not far from the Church on the hill which is great to see the sunset. The actual hotel is picturesque - it is exactly what you imagine a hotel in Greece should look like. The inside of the room was simple, but good and had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend for people to stay here.

The property overlooks the ocean with a glorious patio and built in sofa. The room was spacious with top-notch and comfortable amenities. The kitchenette was perfect with supplies for a 4 day stay. Stavros was a terrific host and provided assistance for your needs.

We would highly recommend staying in Agkali when visiting...

We would highly recommend staying in Agkali when visiting Folegandros. The beach is not only beautiful, with turquoise waters and golden sand, but it’s also the perfect starting point to explore nearby coves and hidden beaches. It can get a bit crowded during the day — though we’ll admit we’re quite picky, as we usually prefer more secluded spots. That said, Agkali is still peaceful and it’s served by a few charming tavernas — our favorite was Pasithea. In the evening, once the beach clears out, the place becomes truly magical: quiet, intimate, and almost private, with the sea in front of you and the stars above.

Blue Sand was simply stunning….from the decor, the outstanding service ethic of the staff, (they couldn’t do enough to help us)the delicious breakfasts and to top it all, the beautiful view of the sea and proximity to a sandy beach. I would highly recommend a stay at this outstanding hotel.

Fab small beach, everything you need in the cove to enjoy...

Fab small beach, everything you need in the cove to enjoy your holiday. A few walking/hiking trails can take you to neighboring beaches. There are water taxis that leave from Agali to other beaches only accessible through water/hiking. I would highly recommend taking the taxi to explore.

The Blue Sands Hotel location on the hill overlooking the little beach is lovely. There were towels and chairs to take down to the beach. You can walk to Chora.. it takes about an hour. It would not be a walk that you could do in the dark. So if you want to eat in town ( Chora) you need a taxi ride: 10-15 euros.. the hotel organised all our taxi journeys and did most of them themselves . We also took taxi ride to Ano Maria and walked back to the hotel from there after hiking some of the trails. The walking was lovely: well marked nice paths to beautiful little churches and beaches.

I liked something quiet away from

I liked something quiet away from the hustle and bustle so Pasithea was the right choice . Perfect views and the beach was great . Even if you don't rent a car , there is a bus to accomodate you but i preferred a rental for autonomy . Ilias is a very nice guy and he will help you with everything

Hi Folks My wife June and I had a truly amazing experience, we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Everything was perfect, all the family could not do enough for us. We stayed 4 nights and we wish we stayed longer. It is spotless clean, very good value and wonderful friendly service. We were so lucky to find this place a hidden gem. Please please stay here. We are lucky enough to have visited 75 countries and this is one of the best. Cheers Paul
