The hosts are so nice, we were welcomed with a traditional chickpea soup and a cucumber from the garden and the rooms were cleaned every day. Since the accommodation only has 5 rooms it's really quiet and sitting on the balcony, you were able to watch the sunrise. The rooms have an A/C as well as a fan. For us, the fan was sufficient. Artemonas is a great place to start off several hiking trips and it's only a 15min walk into the city centre/Apollonia. In the end, they even gave us some biscuits and a zucchini from their garden, such sweethearts! We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back.

Θέα - Thea is a gem on Sifnos. The flat smartly blends traditional greek elements with modern design, has many clever solutions utilizing the space in a smart way, a kitchenette that has everything one could need, a comfortable bed and a really nice and modern bathroom. The location is quiet and very close to the central square of Artemonas, and thus perfectly located to catch buses to every part of the island. Also walking to Kastro takes only around 40 minutes and offers some beautiful landscapes on the way. The owner was very nice, kind and the flat was cleaned perfectly throughout our stay. Overall, we were very happy to have found Θέα - Thea and would definitely come again.

Excellent location, beautiful hotel facilities. Cozy room, albeit small. Friendly staff (Evelina who did the check-in what very professional and very friendly, made great suggestions to enjoy the hotel and the short stay in Sifnos). The sunrise in this location is magical.

The room definitely exceeded our expectations. It was the first room we rented in Kamares at a reasonable price that we actually liked and that we could see ourselves renting for a longer time in the future if we decide to stay in Kamares longer. The location is far from the noise of the street, the balcony was spacious and we had a view of the sea (a bit) and of the mountain as well. At night, the silent glow of the stars, combined with the breeze and scent coming from the mountain created a wonderful and poetic atmosphere. The room had a fridge and kitchen utilities (cups, plates, cutlery etc.) and we even had some lovely treats as a gift from the host, which were a nice addition and which we are very grateful for. The room was spacious, neat and clean and the beds large and comfortable. We had plenty of room to move around and keep our luggage. All in all, we are very pleased with our stay here and would like to give our deepest thanks to the host 💓

Artemon is just one small village on the island of Sifnos.

Artemon is just one small village on the island of Sifnos. It's very charming and has a local feel to it with some great restaurants but it's very small so you would ideally explore the rest of the island too - particularly if you have a car!

Artemon is a hilltop village with a surprising number of...

Artemon is a hilltop village with a surprising number of facilities. Its incredibly beautiful, all the houses are built around the beautiful stone foot paths. So it makes it very pedestrian friendly. Down the lane is Apollonia which is larger and has many shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere, its such a wonderful place to walk with paths going in every direction. In Sifnos they have improved the walking with special marked paths to all the main sights and places. This inspired us to walk - a lot ! To Poulati, Kastro, Chrisopigi, Faro, Platis Yialos, and Kamarai. The paths are the ancient ways, direct, beautiful and away from the road. We went in Easter time, so it was cool enough to walk all day.

For me everything was perfect: nice and smart architecture...

For me everything was perfect: nice and smart architecture of the complex, the room spacious with good airconditioning, the generous pool only a few footsteps away from our porch, nice big trees offer shade, the bar was open from early to late, spectacular views. Very friendly staff and owner. This place had a super athmosphere. Great location too.

Amazing views of the Aegean sea. A lot of space - two double bedrooms and couches that can be used as beds, two bathrooms. Accommodating staff that helped us with washing: the washing machine is shared, so you have to talk to staff to find a time to run a load. Convenient clothesline to dry your washing and swimware. While it looks isolated when you get there by car, there is a convenient footpath that brings you to the village of Artemonas in a few minutes.

Incredible views, great design and decoration Delicious restaurant with relaxing music Nice pool with comfy seatings Super friendly staff at the reception, the spa, the pool and the restaurant, always going the extra mile and caring about their guests - special mention to Lydia, the first and last big smile we saw at Verina Astra :) THANKS! Great pottery class arranged for us by the hotel Memorable stay, I would have kept my room for the whole summer 😍

Exceptional experience for this property. Everything was perfectly designed to detail level. Very comfortable and clean space with delicious hand made breakfast. Eirini is the perfect host and willing to help at any occasion. The location is less than 5’ drive from Artemonas village and 10’ drive from Apollonia. It is a very quiet place perfect for holidays. Surely it will be our choice if we visit again the island.

Lovely location and setting. Very clean and comfortable. Melina was an exceptional host with great knowledge of Sifnos. Melina provided us with fantastic suggestions for our 2 night stay. Artemonas was so charming and the bus stop was very close by. We would definitely stay for longer next time, we loved it so much. Thank you Melina!

Really enjoyed this family run hotel. Simple, but quality & view from room is still awesome! Don't skip the restaurant. Top meals & small breakfast prepared from fresh ingredients, directly from his farm. Very welcoming hosts & original, small-island vibe.
