We had a great stay at Royal Sun! The location is very convenient – close enough to Chania but away from the busy streets, which made it peaceful and relaxing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially the night shift receptionist, who was always welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, and the restaurant has an incredible panoramic view over Chania – truly a highlight! The room was comfortable and clean, and one of the best features was the free shuttle service to the city center, which saved us the stress of looking for parking. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chania.

Property was new construction, very clean, and well equipped. I felt extremely safe and the neighborhood was very quiet. I appreciated having a washing machine and also laundry detergent. The view of the sea from the balcony was awesome. Enjoyed being close to small town so I could walk to local restaurants to savor the local cuisine. Close to bus route 18 if you wanted to visit port of Chania. Owner was very accommodating and when my return trip became delayed, he was very helpful in assisting me to secure lodging. I definitely plan to come back to Crete and stay at the Heliades Property.

The location is great, the rooms are very big with a kitchenette including everything you need, bedroom and bathroom are also big, plus there is also a "living room" with a couch and a round table with 4 chairs. And 2 balconies :) The biggest surprise was the breakfast - it is cooked in the eating area so everything is warm and fresh, very tasty, and most important it changes every 3 days so you do not get bored of eating the same thing every day.

My spouse and I stayed at Monte Vardia for a week, and we both felt we made an excellent choice. Helen and her team were exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast was generous and varied, and the hotel’s location was very convenient—just a short drive to the center of Chania. There’s a coffee shop, a market, and a gyros restaurant right next to the hotel, as well as a lovely park (Venizelos Graves) just a five-minute walk away. The hotel also offers easy access to the main roads leading to beaches both to the west and east of Chania

We experienced true hospitality during our holiday! The resort is beautiful, with amazing views both from the rooms as well as the common spaces and pools. Most members of the staff were warm hearted and genuinely took good care of us! Checking was breeze, the front desk staff arranged things while we enjoyed refreshments (they even upgraded us without asking - recognizing that we were regular Marriott Bonvoy customers). When we went off the property the arranged our visit including the taxi back. The team at breakfast was amazing!! Agyro welcomed us with a smile and made sure we had reservations for dinner and even gave us recommendations if we were going off the property. Elsa and Aggeliki were especially sweet to our son going above and beyond! They have 3 pools 1 for adults, 1 shallow pool for babies and 1 for families. They also have direct access to the Aegean sea with beds looking onto the sea. At the poolside Chrsitina was especially helpful and took special care of our son. Last but not the least Manos the director of operations was ever present and made sure that our stay was awesome!
