My stay at The Calliston was wonderful in every way!!! The location is incredible, and the hotel has everything you need! One of the most pleasant aspects was the design of the hotel, the beautiful setting, the Venetian Murano lamps, the stone walls, the paintings, the interior garden with the fountains, the flowers and in general the good taste with witch the hotel was decorated. The staff was very friendly, attentive, polite and genuine and the general attitude was very welcoming. It appears that the general vision of the hotel it is long term vision and not quick savings because they are generous with the complimentary products unlike, unfortunately many four and five stars hotels. Finally , in this age of globalization and uniformity, Acanthus Blue has a distinctive, pleasant unique personality reminding of by gone times of good manners and respect like good hotels used to be in French Italian Riviera for example.
