Carisa Maleme is a truly special spot, blending comfort, great view, and the warmest hospitality. The rooms themselves are comfortable. Location is good, close to the sea. It's very pleasant and quiet place. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the people. Every single person I met was smiling, kind, and genuinely helpful. They went out of their way to help us with taxis, food recommendations, directions — basically anything I needed. Highly recommend!

everything. nice pools and waterfall system. the rooms are big with comfortable beds. diverse breakfast. location is only 20 min from chania and a great place to visit the western attractions. we originally booked 2 nights and extended two more. there are plenty of supermarkets restaurants and bars within walking distance and so is the beach. recommend riza restaurant abit uphill but great food and view! come before sundown

We had a wonderful stay and were very happy with our experience. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos, and all the facilities and amenities we needed were available. Having access to laundry facilities was also very convenient. The pool area was very pleasant and a great place to relax. The location was excellent as well, with shops, restaurants, and everything we needed within easy reach. There was also a bus stop nearby with direct connections to Chania, which made getting around very easy. Car rental was conveniently available just across the road, with reasonable prices and straightforward rental conditions. The biggest highlight was definitely the staff. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and always made us feel at home. A special mention goes to Thomas, who was outstanding and made a lasting impression on us with his positive attitude and professionalism. The housekeeping was exceptional throughout our stay. Every day, our room was cleaned to a spotless standard and looked absolutely perfect when we returned. The attention to detail and consistency made our stay even more comfortable. Also, a small mention for Sami the cat, who was very sweet and a lovely addition to the property. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Everything! It’s a nice, quiet village-like hotel with rooms not facing the main road. The food was delicious and each evening had a theme night with a certain type of cuisine. Among them I liked the most the BBQ night. The all-inclusive option is an excellent value for money, the cocktails were very good and the bartenders were always there. The staff was very helpful. Also, I had read the other reviews about this property and it had been noted that there were no signs for allergens - now there are those kinds of signs. The hotel had an evening with live music (greek style) which was very nice; during the daytime there were certain basic fitness activities which were very good options for those concerned about the amount of tasty food… The hotel has a very nice policy for those who checked in late, allowing for using the all-inclusive options during the last day while waiting for the taxi to the airport. It’s a big plus.

Everything was wonderful. The staff was amazing. They truly understand how to deliver exceptional seevice. Each and every person we interacted with was polite, friendly, and helpful. The facilities were impeccably clean and well attended. The room had outstanding air conditioning. Even though our room was right in front of the common pool, the sound insulation was so good that we didn't hear a single sound from outside of the room.Will certainly return.

The location was good. The pool was great. The breakfast was great; my kids enjoyed making their own fresh orange juice. Parking was a little difficult but we always found a spot. We only wish we had been able to stay longer.

This is our third stay at Oscar, and we had another excellent experience. The hotel is right on the Main Street with lots to do around. The hotel property itself is beautiful with two pools, and the friendliest and most accommodating staff- From the front desk to the cleaning staff! There is a parking lot, which helps because parking on the main street is difficult. Overall great stay, and we look forward to coming back.

Amazing breakfast with many choices. Staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms were great. We had a ground floor room and since we had a baby with the stroller the access to the room was so easy and comfortable. The pool was very clean and the beach was right in front of the hotel.
