Featuring a restaurant, a fitness center as well as a bar, Hotel Notara is located in Dhiakofti, 197 feet from Kythira Diakofti Port. Where do I even start? We booked one night and ended up staying a week! And if we could, we would have stayed longer. The rooms are all lovely, but the see view room is absolutely breathtaking. The beach which the hotel is next to is by far the best beach on the island and the facilities are amazing. The staff and the owner? A whole different league! Greek people are probably amongst the friendliest in the World, but everyone at Notara is just simply amazing! There is not a thing that they will not help you with. And finally the the breakfast. Even during the COVID19 they are keeping their standards extremely high; the food is delicious and orange juice is just magnificent. And never have I had breakfast closer to the sea. Because of this stunning view, the breakfasts never took less than 2 hours. Oh and the Island... yes it is small and you will not find the kind of Crete parties, but the place is fantastic for a romantic gateway.

Located a 2-minute walk from Kythira Diakofti Port, Skinammos studios, suites offers a garden, a shared lounge and accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. We stayed in a beautiful deluxe studio which was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed and mattress are COCO-MAT (high quality and very comfortable). The hosts were very kind with us, willing to know us better and provide guidance for our vacation plans. They were cooking and serving us delicious breakfast every morning. The place is very quite as well, all you can hear at night is the sea waves. We’re looking forward to go back soon!

The owners have warmly welcomed us with an excellent map of the island (it was prepared by hand and contains almost all information about Kythira - to every single detail like which beach is organized and which is not). Andreas and Sofia is extremely helpful for all kind of issues (from renting a car to giving information and tips, arranging a pickup with one e-mail the day before our arrival and many more) The location is perfect, close to the mini market, to an excellent taverna (each dish is surprisingly good), to a sandy beach which has good organization and clear waters. I would strongly recommend this property for those who is looking for a quiet and relaxing island holiday.

Words can not describe how wonderful is the view from the terrace. The apartment is compact but it has eveything you need and perfect for a couple. Location could not be better: the long and deserted (in August!) Paleopolis beach at walking distance, the cosy bar and restaurants of Avlamonas a short drive away. Villa Venus is the perfect spot to explore the incredible island of Kythira. We WILL be back.
