The beach is within short reach as are the restaurants and convenience stores. The amenities were perfect and the room was super clean. Highly recommended!!
Just 650 ft from the sandy beach, Hotel Francoise offers an outdoor pool with deck lounge chairs and umbrellas, and a spa with hammam and hot tub. Ermoupolis is 5 miles away.

What a great hotel! It's a bit funky from the point of view of the lay-out (several levels that don't quite align, feels a bit like a maze), but after 1/2 day, I had it figured out. The location is superb - a little bit out of the way of tourists, and on one side looking at the harbor, on the other side looking at the sea (which I had - which was wonderful with the sound of the waves during the night). The bedroom was quite large, nicely appointed and a great bed; good bathroom; AC which I did not need to use; super clean. Breakfast was included with my rate, and was very diverse - savory vs. sweet, lots of options, and Greek coffee in addition to American and Italian coffee - loved it! The service was friendly and very supportive - front desk, breakfast, bar, and room service. I did not use the restaurant, but some people I met did, and said it was good.
We really fell in love with Galissas. Coming back home even felt sad. The people and the vibe there is indescribable. You can really come to peace with yourself and the surroundings and nature are breathtaking. Also the bars and restaurants there are so wonderful. If you're looking for a good detox of society, this is truly the place to be.

Great area.
Great area. Out of the way of the busy and beautiful city centre. Access by local bus and great to place to unwind. Eating at local eateries on the property is highly recommended. The food is amazing with great variety to choose from.

Galissas was quiet, but access to Ermoupoli was good and short by taxi, picturesque by bus. I preferred to be at Hotel Benois, Galissas for its beauty and amenities. Staff were sensational- especially Maria and Constantinos. And bar staff made great cocktails.

A family-only hotel with no consideration for couples
A family-only hotel with no consideration for couples
The staff, with the exception of those present in the morning, are rude to foreigners
Our room was outdated, not enough plugs for example, as was the bathroom with a tub that did not drain water
Our room was next to a cleaning ladies' equipment store, as a result every morning at 08:15 at the latest we were woken up by the slamming doors and then by the voices of the cleaning ladies
Our balcony was never sunny, for a customer staying for a fortnight I expected a better-exposed and better-kept room.
Instead we seemed to be almost a nuisance.
True shame the island deserves more.

Quite beach with fine white sand and magnificent landscape as surroundings. Children friendly beach - no deep water. Typical tavernes with fresh food at 50m. of the beach.
Different small shops in the main street.
Awfull view on the top of the hill at the St. Pakou chapel.

Hosts were so lovely and accommodating:) they were so friendly and helpful during my stay and they look after the property so well. I can tell they take pride in their hotel, it’s very beautiful inside and out. And they look after the stray cats that hang around which is so cute. Will definitely come back if I’m ever in Galissas again
Breakfast was good, it included for example yoghurt with fresh fruit and some local sweets. Close to the beach and you can find bus stop right in front of the hotel. Hotel room was clean and there was enough space for two people. Pool area was also okay, but we preferred to spend time on the beach.
It was a beautiful location, close by the Galissas beach. You can easily go to nearby beaches by bus. Clean rooms, fresh towels every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended 👌
Very quiet and nice balcony. Very easy to walk to everything in galissas. Our room included a scooter but we were upgraded to a quad. Very flexible and helpful staff.
