My wife and I truly enjoyed the apartment. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owner has given attention to every detail right down to the monogrammed linens. We also enjoyed the small beach town with excellent restaurants and coffee shops. We would 100% recommend staying in one of the apartments at the Art Studio in Gialova!

It is a bit of an odd place.

It is a bit of an odd place. The beaches are beautiful and picturesque, however there are no facilities on the beaches (no sunbeds, beachbars or even toilets). Any beaches with facilities are private to the exclusive Navarino Resort, and therefore you have no access. A lot of it is a nature conservation area, which is probably why its so beautiful, and walking around is lovely, but there isn't much else to do. The restaurants are very good, and a cut above those we encountered elsewhere in Greece - bit more expensive but definitely worth it. We were due to stay 5 days, but moved on after 3 as there just wasn't enough to do.

From Gialova you can easily reach many beaches, we liked Divari, Voidokilia, Peroulia, Lambes, Foinikounta. You can eat extremely well at Elia in Gialobva, Riki at Marathopolis. Unfortunately we experienced a lot of days with high winds so the sea was not calm, although beautiful to watch, like in Ammothines.

Gialova is a lovely little seaside town.

Gialova is a lovely little seaside town. The pier and broadwalk offer a lot of choices for food and drink. Elia is a great place to eat. Their food is delicious and the prices are reasobable. Giavlova Cruises is an awesome company that offers trips around Navarino Bay and Gialova lagoon or if you would rather just go fishing you can make arrangements with them. Went out on their boat with them a couple of times while there and it was thoroughly enjoyable. They offer sunrise and sunset tours too. Dont pass this by.

Gialova (yal-va) is a very small place blessed with some wonderful beaches and really nice properties. Despite the fact there are 3 Marriott brands and the Mandarin Oriental, it's still "small". Quaint but small "main street" with some great restaurants.

I have known this place for a long time.

I have known this place for a long time. Amazing natural beauty and good for walking and swimming. Gilaova is expanding at a great rate which makes me sad but means it offers a lot of facilities and places to drink and eat but rather sophisticated instead of simple tavernas. Still a special place.

Quiet location close to Gialova bars and restaurants. Just what we needed for a relaxing week away. Very well equipped for self catering and days on the beach. This is a well cared for and maintained family holiday home. Clean and comfortable. Hanny was on hand for any queries. We enjoyed the veranda and garden for lazy breakfasts and afternoon snoozes. Glasses on wine and salty snacks listening to the birds in the evening. Loved our stay and we would go back.

The three houses are brand new, the upper level has a lovely view from the balcony over the Divari lake and Navarino Bay. It is only a few minutes walk to the nearest mini market and 10 minutes to the lovely boulevard of Gialova. The hosts are very friendly and do everything to make your stay wonderful
