The hotel is about 10-12 minutes walking distance from port which we preferred as it was nice and quiet. The hotel was great. It was spacious, clean and a wonderful view of the beach and harbour. The breakfast was wonderful with a good selection. I loved the fresh orange juice and yogurt with fruit salad was incredible With honey. There was a hot selection as well including cereal, cakes, toast etc. Chrysoula the manager went above and beyond providing information. Picking us up from the port and a kind and loving person. The staff that cleaned our room and Katerina that cooked the breakfast were great.

WOW literally best place I stayed at in my multi island trip. So light and roomy with an amazing sunset view. The location is also super convenient to some amazing restaurants. Our favorite was the smaller Italian restaurant closer to ferry. The beach is perfect with super affordable chairs and roomy if you just want to lay your towel down under the trees. The entire staff including Adda and all the front reception ladies were so nice and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and the room had a great clean tone neutral decor vibe.

This was our second stay at Grand View.
The view is magnificent and the accommodation is steps away from the beach.
The room was recently remodeled and is stylishly decorated with a little kitchen, well stocked with appliances. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with cotton sheets. The bathroom was fantastic with an excellent shower. Our sheets and towels were changed regularly and our host brought us special baked goods each morning for breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Great little village away from the lake tourist crowds of other Greek Islands. Better beaches than most, cheaper prices, better value for money. Way more relaxing and less hectic. The villages are small, but there's so much to do. Easy to get around by bus and cheap. Food is excellent at fair prices on the main road and the village is fun to explore. It's known for food, and it didn't disappoint. Great views of sunset at the beach and great area for a run.

Kamares is a small town.
Kamares is a small town. Everything you need is on one street.
There are mini markets, cafes, good restaurants and tourist shops.
The ferry stops right at the end of the main street.
You can rent a car or motor bike at a few rental places.
Kamares beach is an excellent beach right in the center of the town.

Port town of Sifnos, but small in scale.
Port town of Sifnos, but small in scale. One street of tavernas, souvenir shops and bakeries. Some of the establishments have sun loungers on the beach to use for a fee. Beach is sandy and crystal clear shallow waters. Everywhere is walkable from the ferry (though can get busy with cars when ferry arrives or departs). Good quiet location for relaxing on beach or using as a starting point to explore the island (would recommend a car) - everywhere is maximum 30 minutes drive.

The beach. A choice of restaurants.
The beach. A choice of restaurants. Convenient for the ferries. Close to other towns like Apolina and Kastro.
And Sifnos is one of the best Greek islands for being unspoilt, clean, amazing views, lovely villages and very good restaurants. It seems to be a gourmet island, unlike others.

The island of Sifnos is idyllic, To Steno apartments are literally 30 metres from a beautiful Sandy beach, shops, beachfront restaurants and bars.
The port is only a 5 minute walk and there is a bus stop where the bus takes you to other destinations on the island. There are plenty of scooter/car hire shops in the town with competitive prices. The restaurants sell traditional delicious Greek dishes, The Sifnos chickpea stew is very tasty and only about €5 and a local lamb stew is delicious also washed down with a carafe of red wine. The capital of Sifnos is Apollonia and I’d a 15 min bus trip away, it is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous blue domed churches, narrow winding alleyways with amazing shops, boutiques, jewellery shops and restaurants. We went one evening for dinner, it was a good choice as it was cooler and less crowded for walking around the town and all shops are open until 10pm. The restaurants are little more expensive but they are lovely. The last bus returns to Kamares at 22.00 so plenty of time to explore the area.
The apartment was in a perfect location and was super clean and maintained with excellent facilities for tea/coffee, a fridge, breakfast goodies and good wifi connection. Sofia, the host is absolutely lovely and organised an extra night stay for us as we wanted to stay longer!

Thanks to the developed bus network, it is not a problem to live in Kamarai (port) and at the same time visit interesting places on the island (Apollonia, Kastro including the beach, Fasolu Beach and especially the magical Cherronisos)
The Hotel is extremely well located opposite the Kamares Beach and the path to the Beach. It can be reached with a short (750 Metre) 15 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal. The local Bus Stop to Apollonia is only 300 metres away and the main town centre is only 400 metres away. The room was spacious and comfortable with good bathroom facilities and the lovely Balcony with a sea view across the Bay was an added bonus. Apart from the poor Wifi signal in our room we would certainly recommend this small Family run Hotel as a great place to stay.
Everything.
The hotel feels like a guest house, Dora and Georges are super friendly and gave all the tips to discover the island in the best manner. Thank you both we loved sifnos also thanks to you.
The room was great and clean, kamares is a great to explore the island from. Go for it your eyes closed.
We loved being so close to beach, town, bus stop and ferry port. The restaurant was in a delightful setting, and the food and service, exceptional quality. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful . Being on the ground floor, we had a lovely outdoor terrace.
The property was lovely, spotlessly clean with a great terrace which over looks Kamares. It’s in a brilliant location. The owner was so helpful, we would definitely stay here again.
