We absolutely loved our stay at Palaios Fournos. It was just like a home far away from home, sounds cheesy but...it sure felt that way. The view is amazing, you can watch the sunset from the terace...I mean the sun actually going down in the sea. In the morning there is also a nice view of the sky from the bedroom during sunrise. The area is so quiet, that all we could hear were birds and sheep (don't worry, sheep are just passing by while grazing). The hosts were really nice and provided plenty of useful information. They also left us very nice welcoming gifts and were always quick to respond to every message. They also offered us free cleaning, but we actually like to do it ourselves. So, we refused and no one bothered us the whole time (11 nights). I think it is one of the best holiday homes in Kefalonia...for us it was surely the best! Efharisto!

We always stay here when we need a hotel in Lixouri, the pool is big in a beautiful open scenic setting and all the staff and cleaners are super friendly. The location is great close to the local beach and town centre square. We like to have 2 pillows each as there was one each in the room so we asked for extra and got them with no quibble. Great air conditioning which cooled the room quickly and brilliantly well in the heat!

We loved the apartment! It is definitely the nicest place we stayed in, and we've been coming to Greece for years. Everything was perfectly clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the entire aesthetic of the apartment was gorgeous. The owner is very helpful, nice and available whenever you need something. Location is also great, super close to the town square, but far enough so you have peace for a good night sleep. If we ever decide to come back, we won't think twice about choosing the apartment.

The suite was very appealing in design , comfort ,and cleanliness. It was very close and easy walking to the port, the main square, as well as shops and restaurants. Stefanos was an amazing host. He met me at the property upon check in and even carried my bags up for me. Such a thoughtful host. Provided recommendations for restaurants. He checked in to make sure I was settled and had no concerns. Snacks and drinks were provided by the host to enjoy, I appreciated the big supply of waters and found myself snacking on the cookies. They went so well with the expresso coffee. In fact , I liked this suite so much that I opted to stay an extra night. I had been traveling around and found that I needed a bit of a break. I was able to relax here and enjoy the pace. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was lovely. I highly recommend staying here.
