Az Alíkamboszban, a Kréta régióban található családi nyaraló 26 km-re fekszik Haniától. A helyszíni, privát parkoló ingyenesen használható. A wifi a szálláshely egész területén ingyenes. I loved that the house is traditional in style and furnishings, with its own history and atmosphere, with old photographs of the family, woven bedspread, original wooden furniture, embroidered curtains, a tin pot with dried lavender, the stone exterior of the house, a table outside made from an old window shutter etc, which all made it very cozy. At the same time, it's modern, with Wi-fi, and even a flat-screen TV (if anyone finds the time to watch anything) and very well equipped, actually, maybe the best I've encountered :) It had all the little things that make a house a home and that you need for everyday use but some of which are often missing when you rent a holiday home. From a coffee maker, an oven and hotplates, pots, plates, a pot for Greek coffee (especially appreciated), Greek coffee (even more appreciated! I'm afraid we drank it all-sorry!), sugar, salt, oregano, tea lights, a stock of toilet paper and soap, a mop to wipe the bathroom, paper towels, anti-mosquito coils, to a fridge, stocked with raki, tsikoudia, ice, water bottles and some fruit. I loved that the location is a bit remote, the village small, quiet and unspoilt, and the house located in a place where no one disturbs you, with no immediate neighbours close by. No tourists that I noticed, apart from one couple, and no tourist facilities, just local, so perfect for people who prefer this. It was very peaceful and quiet and exactly what we were looking for. Sometimes sheep came at night looking for grass to graze on just outside and you could hear the sound of the little bells around their necks :) Because it's a stone house, there is no need for air conditioning. The house can get a cool at night but in the summer months it's pleasant and there are blankets if you need them. There is a double bed, which is rare. I loved that there was a little garden with a table and chairs where you could eat your meals, with both sunshine and shade, and grapes hanging overhead.
