The seafront Kefalonia Bay Palace is a charming Ionian style hotel built amphitheatrically in the bustling town of Agia Efimia. It offers accommodations with breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. Great to have a private pool and a large comfortable apartment with a great view over the sea.
Located a 2-minute walk from Agios Konstantinos Beach, Katarina Apartments offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The hosts were kind, flexible and accurate! The place has a really good money/quality ratio! Really clean and neat. The location was nice and we had a nice view over the bay of Argostoli!
Featuring a terrace with sea views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Lourdas Bay View can be found in Kefallonia, close to Kanali Beach and 1.3 miles from Stella Beach. This was our second visit to Kefalonia as we loved the island so much we went back again, and we weren't disappointed! We were staying up in Fiskardo for the first part of our vacation and Vaso was available on messaging to answer any queries we had prior to our transfer to her property. The accommodation was modern, clean, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. When we arrived we were surprised at the amount of land the property has and the abundance of fruit trees. Loads of space for parking and the views from the terrace / outside seating area and all around are amazing. There is quite a steep drive down to the property's rear parking area, but you get used to this after the first time. Internally the kitchen has everything you will need. Big fridge which had a very appreciated welcome pack! There is a utility room with a washing machine which was great. All the rooms have AC for those warmer days and evenings. Each door has an insect screen which allows all the doors to be opened and a refreshing breeze to blow through the house without any bugs flying in. The bedrooms are spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable. The main living area has a large sofa and a smart TV so you can log into your streaming services. Modern and clean bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. The property is located opposite a church, which on or around the 15th August there is a festival and church has food, music and dancing, finished off with fireworks. Worth a visit if you are staying around this time as it was good fun. A car is advisable as there aren't many amenities in easy walking distance. Locally there is an amazing bakery with fresh pastries and really good coffees (Freddo Cappuccinos). Loads of beaches close by, a selection of restaurants are available, we would highly recommend the 'Souvlaki House'. If you are looking for somewhere a bit more lively then Argostoli is only a 20 minute drive.

Located in Kefallonia in the Kefalonia Region, 29 mi from Zakynthos Town, Anna Maria Apartments features a barbecue and views of the sea. Sami is 11 mi from the property. All units feature a TV. The facility is ideally located as it is close to the best beaches and the least crowded. The apartment was cosy and cute, a bit like when you visit your grandparents, you immediately feel good. Of course it has all the modernity one need as well. The owners are authentic, generous, and very kind people. They were helpful and made sure we had everything to feel like home. The legendary Greek hospitality has been proven once again. We also used the barbecue during our stay and it was easy to use. The owner helped us do it and was a very joyful and reassuring presence to have around. The view is beautiful from the balcony as you can see the sea and the mountain The parking is large and allow space to manoeuver The village is also at a walking distance to buy the groceries and to eat (I advice the restaurant of the village as it's a must) The cleanness was exceptional. The room was cleaned every single day and the linen and towels changed every second day.
We travelled to Kefalonia and stayed in the resort of Pessada at a very nice two bedroom villa called Villa Ida in August. This was a family break ,but for the first week my wife and i were at the villa alone ,celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, waiting for our son and his girlfriend to flyout and join us for our second week. Kefalonia is a beautiful island and well worth exploring,it balances tourism and a traditional culture very well and remains to be spoilt. We have stayed here before and have been to other islands, but keep returning as it suits our needs. I recommend booking a hire car up before you arrive,as its the best way to explore this island. When my son was younger we used to stay in Lassi(which has everything we needed with a young child)and did`nt require a hire car as we did`nt need to explore that much. We are now middle-aged and like things abit quieter. This does`nt mean there is a teenager/drunken nightclub scene to the island(far from it)but its more an island to chill and relax at. I hope whomever reads this falls in love with beautiful as we did 20 years ago.
Kefalonia is a hidden jewel. The beaches are both spectacular to look at as well as swim in. The island has so much variety and beauty and activities for everyone. It's not just a place for beach lovers. Hiking up to the top of the mountain is well worth the effort. There are amazing views even if you don't want to go all the way to the top. The island is small enough that from a central location, you can plan day trips to anywhere and be back home without exhausting yourself, yet large enough that you can do something different every day. You can go to a different beach or part of the island every day for two weeks and still not have time to see everything, leaving more secrets to disover for the next time. I have been coming for years and am still finding new things each time I visit.
Excellent place to be for vacations. Dreamy beaches, clean water in the sea, excellent and delicious food. Some attention needed when you go to beaches that are crowded to find proper place for parking but it is something expected in high seasons. Too many places to see and too many things to do since the island is big. Definιtely you need more than one week in order to see major hot spots.
Very nice island with the fantastic and pitoresc cities. The beaches are unique and also the views from the mountains. My favourite place is Assos city the food was great in Lixouri near the port. Also fantastic places are Myrtos beach, Petani beach for sunset, Amandakis beach for the rocks
We were happy to "do" Kefalonia out of season. There were nevertheless sufficient tavernas and restaurants open in the last week of March for this not to be a problem Some stunning sights, good food, friendly and helpful Kefalonians - a most enjoyable week
We stayed in Kefallonia for a week and it was long enough to have a good wonder but we could have stayed much longer as we really loved it! Kefallonia is an amazing place, less "Greek" than other islands for landscapes but very fascinating, you can find awesome beaches both sandy and rocky ones where the water is always clear. We stayed down south with the accomodation but then had a good visit all around the island.. you must rent a car! It's a must have for getting around on this particular island, no quads and no moped will ever be safe on those roads :) Often to get to places (like the famous Myrtos beach) or just to get across the island you'll have to go much higher up than youd desire and sometimes you'll have to adventure to some off-road bits but it'll be definetely worth it! -Favourite Town: ASSOS it's worth a visit, its a little gem very pitoresque - Best Meal: THE GREEK GARDEN we randomly find this place while going from our villa to Argostoli and had the best original greek meal ever :) - Favourite Beach: KAMINIA BEACH The water is so shallow and the beach was sandy and.. deserted! A real treat for being August
