I loved the location. Honey is situated in the quieter part of town, further along the coast and closer to the smaller beaches—which I personally preferred over the larger, busier one in the other part of Bali. The apartment is a great option for anyone looking for a 2-room setup without booking two separate hotel rooms. There’s a separate kitchen and living area with a big sofa that can easily sleep two, plus a bedroom with a pretty large, comfy bed. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the appliances you’d need to cook a meal or prepare breakfast in the morning. (The only small critique I’d give is that I wish there were one more power outlet so you could run the toaster and coffee machine at the same time—but that’s really a minor detail.) There’s also a cute balcony with space to hang and dry your swimsuits while you sleep. But the absolute best part of our stay was, OF COURSE, the staff—especially the wonderful Eda. She pretty much runs everything at the hotel, keeps it spotless, manages the plants that would otherwise melt in the Bali heat, and still finds time to make every guest feel welcomed and cared for. A lot of the great memories from our stay are thanks to her specifically. We were traveling all the way from Ukraine and arrived super early—around 7 or 8 a.m.—which is well before check-in. We were completely exhausted, but Eda kindly checked us in early so we could rest and recover after the long trip. She also gave us tons of useful advice about the area: which restaurants are worth visiting (and which ones aren’t), how to snag the best sunbeds, and so on. Her English is excellent, and she’s just the loveliest, most organized hotel boss 😎 and a genuinely great person. If you’re coming to Honey, even if you don’t know anything about how the place works, trust me—you’ll be taken care of ❤️

We had a wonderful stay in this charming spot just up the hill from the beach. The staff are really nice, welcoming and genuine, and the room we stayed in was nicely decorated, with a beautiful view of the bay. I look forward to returning!

The hotel and room are one of the most comfortable and pleasant in my many travels to Greece and Italy. The manager and all the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room (302) was large with a couch and big double bed. There were many sockets for plugging in appliances. Lots of room in drawers and closet to put away things. There is a desk to use laptop and Wi-Fi was easy to connect and fast. The refrigerator was cold and adequately big. The large bathroom was a delight. One large bathtub with jets and a shower head. And another large shower on the other side of the bathroom. There is a bar open in the evening on a terrace with a nice view which you can use during the day. The pool was nice with nice shrubbery around it. The location is great, right above the pretty cove beach with tavern and right on edge to old town with grocery store, restaurants and really good grill house. The décor was very pleasant and modern in all respects: room, bathroom, hallways, and breakfast room. Nice touch with fresh flowers in lobby. Breakfast was good with different eggs as well as boiled eggs, bacon, meats, cheese, fruits, vegetables and decent machine coffee. Parking in lot across from hotel. Nothing more you would want for a nice place to swim and eat in a small town at a reasonable price. Communication via Booking messaging quick and helpful.

This village Perama is located close to the highway between...

This village Perama is located close to the highway between Chania and Heraklion and offers a good starting point to discover the north side of Crete. Lots of beaches, nature, caves, monestries as well cultural ellements to discover. You need a car though but that is true for whole Crete. Less comfortable to discover the south of Crete as you have to go around the mountain and that takes time. Perama has a couple of good supermarkets and some smaller restaurants. Good pizeria/gyros place at the entrance crossing next to the supermarket. I would recommend to drive a little further to the coast for nicer restaurants with sea view. About 15 minutes.
