Beautiful little family owned/operated boutique hotel steps away from the center of old town. The 4 rooms are named for each of the owner Nicos' children, whom we met 3; Eleni, Nomikos and Maria. The entire family is welcoming and caring-it felt like we were visiting our distant relatives.
Their attentiveness to detail, cleanliness, product choice, good air conditioning (important!), etc was top-notch, along with super comfy beds! Room decor and space utilization was great. Although literally 4-5 little shops from one of the busiest squares, the room was quiet.
The rooms are upstairs and downstairs the family owns/runs Il Giardino, which had excellent pasta and a delicious tropical salad.
When we return to Rhodes, we look forward to staying here again.
We definitely recommend this property!

Outstanding staff that welcomed us with a warm reception and the day staff gave such personal attention to our breakfasts, to our care, and even packed a breakfast to take with us because we left early our last day. They ordered the taxi for us, gave us input on where to go and what to see. It was a beautiful setting with a courtyard and fountain and soaking pool. The rooms were nice and had all the amenities we needed.

I really enjoyed my stay here nice way to top off a month long journey, always try to go to best hotel last night we spent 3 .
The breakfst at first looks rather plain for the Venue. Then they arrive, after you have had a look and topped up with a conthinental breakfast plate, with a full menu from the kitchen. Special omlette is amazing like a pizza for breakfeast without the crust Just delicious
For sure will return.

This is such a fabulous guesthouse in the heart of the historical city center. The family that runs the place is very kind and helpful, and the room is large and sunny. The room we had shared a bathroom with other rooms on the top floor, but each room as it's own sink and refrigerator and tea kettle. Everything was clean and comfortable, I highly recommend this place.

I love Rhodes old town and new town, especially out of season.
There is such a sense of history there and I find it very beautiful. There is such a variety of things to do - museums to visit, shopping, eating, visiting ancient monuments and swimming/lying on the beach!

in nov i had old town all to myself, especially outside of 11am-2pm (when the cruise ship arrives). visiting the palace of grand masters and knight's hospital at opening, i was able to take photos for an hour without anyone being in my shot. i deliberately chose off-season so i could walk the streets and feel like i've time travelled back to medieval period. with shops and restaurants closed, modern day does not intrude.
there was so little light pollution in old town, i could see stars at night.
i could enjoy sunrise at mandraki harbour and read in peace and quiet until mid-morning.
walking in the moat and along the outside of walks really brings to life how daunting it is to attack/siege rhode's fortress defenses.

Rhodes has a long and complex history.
Rhodes has a long and complex history. There are interesting ancient Greek remains, particularly the stadium and odeion -- plus the many artefacts and sculptures in the excellent archaeological museum. The medieval old town has massive fortifications and lots of narrow medieval streets -- not just the famous Street of the Knights -- that can take you away from the other commercial streets, though these are often old also. The grandmaster's palace (or castello) is as much a 1930s filmset from the when this was an Italian colony as it is a medieval building. Remants of a fascist colonial past are also found in the new town, but the several narrow -- and car free, but not moped free -- streets that are to be found are attractive. The beach (Elli Beach) is extensive with fine views towards Turkey, though much of the town adjacent to beach is given over to large hotels. We visited well out of season -- early November -- and numbers of restaurants etc. were closed, but it was pleasantly warm (low 20s) and not very busy. In season it would be very hot and very crowded. There are lots of street cats, but the locals do take care of them -- numbers of shops and kind locals provide food, water, and sometimes ad hoc shelter.

I loved walking around Old Town for the sight-seeing, restaurants and shopping. Walking and driving around New Town, where I was staying was less crowded and a beautiful experience. One has to do both. I learned the layout of the town within a very short space of time. I recommend hiring a car and being flexible. By the time I left, after one week, I had driven around the whole island, from Rodos to Prasonisi and back. As we drove to the various monuments and tourist attractions spots, we came across the most beautiful beaches, met local people and dined in country restaurants along the way. I truly felt I had a holistic experience of the town and the island.

It was one of the best hotel we have ever been to! The location was great, very close to the beach (rocky beach sand). In the hotel everything was clean, the staff was super nice, we had a 1 year old kid with us and everyone was very kind to him and considerate. The Food was great, the “all inclusive” was totally worth it - every day we experienced different meals, the banquet offer was very very rich. We were absolutly satisfied.
Easy check in and we were "upgraded" on our room (not quite sure what to, as the room looked like the photo of the room we booked). Room very comfy, everything worked and well laid out with a nice balcony that got the sun in the afternoon/early evening. The hotel itself and the corridors/stairways are very clean. It was easy to walk there into Rhodes Town Centre and to the coast.
very clean, modern hotel. lovely little supermarket inside which was well priced and well stocked. most rooms have amazing sea views and the sunsets/sunrises were amazing. Also location was great. on the beach but walking distance to new town and old town. yer quiet at night too. perfect
