Just 328 feet from Souda Port, the family-run Parthenon Hotel is 2.8 mi from the center of scenic Chania Town. Very nice room, well equipped, clean and spacious. Air conditioning was working. Silent despite being in a trafficked neighborhood. Close to the Chania Airport. We booked the room for one night right before the departure.

The owners were friendly and polite and welcomed us with drinks and food which was a very nice gesture. The property itself is huge and consists of a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a terrace on the ground floor, and 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a terrace on the upper floor. The air conditioning is on the upper floor. Beds are okay. The villa has a nice big garden; just be prepared that there are lots of stray cats hanging around the house:-) in case you are allergic. You can park easily in front of the house, I recommend having a car since you need one to go to the shop or to the city center.

Featuring sea views, BO Home provides accommodations with a garden and a balcony, around 1.8 miles from Souda Port. This apartment is fabulous and comfortable. The owners are helpful and good at communicating. Location a bit far from the best sites but between the beach and downtown area and a good value all considered. Having a washing machine was especially great! Felt very safe.

Very convenient location (if you don't want to stay in the Chania city center). You are 10 min from Chania, very close to the national road so you can visit West Crete (I assume you have rent a car). It has a great bakery and a super market in a 200 m radius.
