Located in Vravrona, VILLA ALKMINI NEAR THE AIRPORT provides accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue. Theres nothing like experiencing the true countryside of Athens. The drive there had me a bit concerned but it was by far the best decision we made. We hung out in the outdoor dining room with the hosts and got to experience the culture and language to its fullest. It is a beautiful home that's a 5min drive from a cute beach town. This was the perfect place for us to have stayed our last night in Greece and when we come back this is definitely on our return list.
Blue Villa is located in Vravrona. Located on the beachfront, this property has a garden, a private beach area, barbecue facilities and free WiFi. Manos, really is the host with the most! He picked us up from the airport, pointing out places of interest on the way and when we arrived at the villa he explained where the beach and local restaurant were. The house has everything you could possibly need and Manos’ wife even made is a delicious meal as well as breakfast for the morning. They really went above and beyond and we would love to return. It’s a shame we were only there for one night. Thank you!

Located in Vravrona, Artemis GreenHill has free bikes, a garden and a terrace. The property has a 24-hour front desk, airport transportation, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The people who ran the hotel were kind, caring and so helpful. The location makes getting to the airport,at any time, very easy! The view is absolutely beautiful. What a treat it was to soak in the jacuzzi after two weeks of intense walking and climbing while touring Greece!
Alexia's Sea View House is located in Vravrona. Located on the beachfront, this property features a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. The host set up taxis to and from the airport for us and the airport was just 15 minutes away. Beach access was close by, it was an easy walk to a very good restaurant. The place was spacious, beds were comfortable, snacks and supplies for breakfast were available.
I love going to Greece no matter what the people are lovely The food is dependably delicious The history and sights are phenomenal the only thing that was disappointing was all the graffiti in the streets of Athens near the Plaka it truly needs to be cleaned up
This little town clearly suffered greatly in the economic crisis. Lots of abandoned construction projects. There are a few waterfront tavernas within walking distance of Dolce Attica hotel. We were there on a Sunday and all the locals were out being social. It’s authentic if economically depressed. We asked a man in his yard where to eat and were pointed to a decent local spot right on the water, H Xnpa in Greek, English speaking waiter but no English menu. 15 minutes from Athens airport.
A seaside resort close to Athens. We stayed there for 2 nights at the end of our trip because it was close to the "back door" of the airport (20 minutes) and we did not want to brave Athens again.
It's the birth place of the goddess Artemis and her temple is there, I would have loved the opportunity to have gone to visit it and just up a bit a temple of Apollo. But another time with a day or two for just there!
Further from the airport then I expected. On the map it looks close which is the main reason I picked it, but it took 30 mins by cab to get there. Overall quality of the hotel and accommodations is poor. It feels old and cheap. Food was horrible. The staff refused to honor a transfer from the airport so I was told to cab it both ways.

Even before I arrived, the hotel owner reached out to offer a taxi pick up, such was the warm and easygoing welcome. Spacious, clean, comfortable and peaceful setting. Nothing was too much bother and I really appreciated the hospitality. I will come here for a holiday next time!

Very roomy accommodations-much more than you would ever get in a hotel and for much less money. Wi-fi worked great, and our host, Makis, was very engaging and helpful.

Offer cheaper alternative than expensive airport hotels. Home made marmalade was delicious.
