Great location and views over half moon bay, West End. Staff were great and breakfast down stairs for free was good. Occasional late night noise if you have the balcony rooms but I didn't find it an issue and the view wins out.

West End
Set in West End, SeaScape Roatan offers a private pool and free WiFi. This self-catered apartment features a garden. Our stay at Seascape was great! We were traveling with a family of 8 people. The rooms were big and comfortable and clean, and the views are amazing. Roatan in general can get uncomfortably warm but being on the hilltop there was always a fresh breeze throughout the rooms and the patio area. There was also a grill available for use as well as a well stocked kitchen. The pool is also great for relaxing in after a long day of excursions. The location is also a bit more intimate than the standard beachfront hotels, which we preferred—its a great place if you want to hang out with family or friends to catch up and hang out. Travis was extremely hospitable the entire time we were there, helping us arrange for transportation which was extremely helpful since we didn’t have a car while we were there. He also gave us great travel advice and tips in Roatan, as well as the numbers of several reliable drivers that can drive you around the island or can help you put together excursions for your group. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere relaxed and intimate to stay with your group. For sure I know the next time I come back to Roatan I will definitely book Seascape again!

Cocolobo, Lands End, and Hotel Los Corales got great room view-related reviews from travelers in West End.
Many families visiting West End loved staying at Mr. Tucan Hotel, mame trees, and Cocolobo.
Restaurants are plentiful and about same as USA prices. Beach only ok. Would suggest one to three days maximum in West End and four days or more West Bay, with many more water activities. Enjoyed the Beach House for any meal. Enjoyed Tiki Coffee for a short walk daily and great Coffee Latte's. Never had a bad sit down restaurant meal. NEVER tried the street food vendors.
no words to describe it. Spectacular place specially in low season. Always breeze, always sunny, extremely high visibility for snorkeling and scuba diving, extremely long reef barrier you can last for hours just snorkeling. Crowded reef fauna, you can actually hit animals just by floating, variety of fishes and animals, corals of any kind, turtles, nurse sharks, eagles of every type, lobsters lion fish, eels of any type, and i could go on forever, there was not enough time. People is also amazing very kind. And dont get me start with the sunsets....one of the best sunset in the world for sure
Great little beach town! Good vibe, nice beaches and away from the resorts. Lots of dive shops and restaurants. Tiki cup coffee is a must stop in the morning. Best town on the island in my opinion.
Lots of great places to eat, drink, dive and stay. I was so comfortable and felt very safe as a single, female travelling alone. I will definitely go back next year. I stayed at Chillies Hotel and dove with Reef Gliders. Make sure you eat at Sandy Buns Cafe for sure :)
West End is low key and has a great local authenticity. Not overly commercial, no chains and great local businesses who have personality. Plenty of things to do if you want or just chill and go with the tropical feel. Can’t wait to return
West end is "on the water", felt crowded to me. I certainly did not enjoy not having a safe sidewalk to walk on and site see. The culverts pouring straight on to the beach areas is certainly a concern and a put-off. We intend to help change this.
A quiet retreat after a day in/ on the water. Short walk from everything in West End.
