The property was located in the centre of Hum and had all equipment required, including finer details like oil and spices for cooking. It was a really beautiful apartment. Dores is one of the kindest hosts we have ever had, which made our stay even more special.

We stayed only for one night but had wonderful time. We had pool just for ourselves and staff was very friendly, we even got drinks and coffee to enjoy next to the pool, nothing was a problem. Room was well equipped and beds were extremely comfortable, slept very well. Breakfast was great and I loved the decor. It is amazing that the hotel also has its own parking, it is little complicated to use and narrow but it was almost empty at this time of the year so no issue for me (might be more stressful during summer). Would definitely recommend this place.

This family owned property is perfectly located - in the middle of nature but still close enough to main roads. Renovated building, where we were staying, offers 4 nicely furnished appartments on first floor and a restaurant beneath them. Appartments are spacious, beds super comfy, wifi works well, view was amazing, everything was perfect. Breakfast was amazing too - all the food on the table was home made - from yogurt, sweet cherries, bread and marmelade to eggs and salami - and tastes were amazing. Even my daughter, who is quite picky, was delighted over the tastes of “grandmas kitchen”. Restaurant is always opened for property guests, on weekends also for others. We also had dinner one evening after a long hike and i still dream about their prosciutto, pork steak and potatoes :-) The property is huge, you can see cows and donkeys gazing arround on the pastures, they also have own chicken and pigs. The family is very nice and friendly (not to mention hardworking). Even their dog and three cats greeted us every time we came by :-) Staying at Agriturism Stara Stala was an amazing experience and we cannot wait to visit them again.

EVERYTHING is amazing. The house has everything you need. Bath robes, well equipped kitchen (oil, vinegar, salt pepper…). It even comes with wine cellar, wine and home-made sausages. Perfect atmosphere to chill down and relax. Would 10/10 recommend. The host, Jasna, is outstanding, welcoming and super kind.

You can see all of Hum in half a day, but it was so...

You can see all of Hum in half a day, but it was so wonderful to stay overnight after the tourists had left. Don’t miss the museum, it was one of the most creative ones we saw in Croatia. Simply beautiful place.

Hum is a great spot to base yourself to explore the Istrian...

Hum is a great spot to base yourself to explore the Istrian peninsula, give yourself time. Hum is a fascinating little town - two streets, two churches, one with 13 century frescos. Humska konoba is a great spot to eat, delicious food, hearty servings and a wonderful view.

I hope Hum can be as authentic as it is now.

I hope Hum can be as authentic as it is now. There is only 1 restaurant, with people in it, who are so passionate about the food they can bring. It is not what we Belgians are used to eat, but it is the old Istrian cuisine. Here we got what we were looking for! it was just amazing simplicity! LOVE IT
